We have been having a hard time finding a great mattress. After visiting Mattress Firm and speaking with Cassandra, we purchased a Black Beautyrest Jennings matress and we got the base for "free". About a month into having it my husband had to go to the hospital for lack circulation to his body. The matress was too hard for him. When my husband went in to speak with Cassandra, her recommendation was to have our dogs jump on the matress to make it soft. He asked Cassandra about the return policy and she explained the 120 day return policy which seemed great at the time required we pay a 10% restocking fee plus an additional $99 delivery fee (each way). The cost of the bed and accessories were nearly $5000.00 but Cassandra said she'd waive the fees if we choose a different matress. We thought we got a super great deal including a price match, but it turns out there is more to it that meets the eye. Make sure you read the fine print. At the end of the day. I chose to have the matress picked up. When the delivery team showed up they asked for the base. I called Cassandra and she said "we're not in the business of giving things away." Goes to show you... nothing in life is free. When a sales person is nice to you remember they are not there to be your friend; the alterir motive is always to make money off of the customer. The friendliness ends when the money is gone. Sad but true.
Oh BTW Cassandra's MO is to ask you to rate her service while you are waiting for the paper work to be completed. Hopefully everyone who rated her 5 stars is really happy with...
Read moreI can’t even begin to express my satisfaction with the entire purchasing process. If anyone has had to deal with furnishing a new place from ground up, you know how much work goes into planning everything to fit the budget. And when you’re working with a tight budget, EVERY penny counts. Now, I’ve had my fair share of mattress buying experience in the past. From my experience, it seems like every time I would have to make the ultimate decision between comfort and price. When you’re sleeping on a mattress literally 7+ hours a day (or if you’re like me, 4-5 hours) it’s tough having to give up comfort because of the price point. I purchased the purple mattress online in the past because of all the stellar reviews and less than 2 weeks into it, I started to wake up with sore aching back pain (Ridiculous because I’m in my early twenties). From the moment I walked into this mattress firm, Erick Munoz went above and beyond to make sure that I didn’t have to sacrifice my comfort or my budget. I walked out of that store with two new mattress for LESS THAN my expecting price of ONE mattress. I literally spent 70% of my original budget and on top of that, they had an insane payment option that costs basically nothing. If that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will. They also have no credit payment options for anyone that has bad credit! Mattress firm has really outdone themselves this time. I can confidently say that I will be coming back for all my future mattress purchases! Ask for Eric, you...
Read moreWith all the research you can do online and all the blogs out there, nothing beats laying on a mattress for 15 minutes to see if you can relax and nap on something. I walked in not expecting to buy a mattress but left with one with no buyers remorse ¯(ツ)/¯.
Cassandra was a huge help in walking me through the store to try different firmness-mattresses and recommended me something within my price range and I've been happy with it so far!
The mattress selection is enough to offer choice, but not too much that it becomes overwhelming and confusing. There's accessible on each mattress if you're into finding out exactly is in what mattress.
I'd recommend checking out their website to do some research beforehand (and look at prices) and then visit the store to ask about it. Prices may differ online and store because each runs separate promos, but the store price matches immediately and up to 4 months after purchase (I saved more than a few bucks with some basic research).
If you can afford a mattress in the ballpark of $500+ (for Fulls/Queens) then I highly recommend...
