I just want to let you know about the business you would be promoting by coming here. So the head of Krish Hospitality is... well... I'll let you draw your own conclusions from the following details. The Front Desk workers you've all seen (myself & more than a few others), are very much taken advantage of. We work(ed) 40+ hours a week, only to have the head owner turn around & find every way possible not to pay overtime (despite us being told to come in). The reason we hint around but never out right say "Hey! Can y'all leave a positive review for here & use our name it?" Is because it's the only way some of us can even get groceries, because head owner wants more people to come in & gives us $25 ingles cards (max of 5 in 1 month) to convince everyone to leave good reviews.
As everyone is aware, Hurricane Helene carved a destructive path thru Asheville, NC. More than a few of the workers there had their homes damaged or straight up swept away. We were still told to show up... No power, no running water, in hazardous conditions (no hazard pay), to "guard" the 2 buildings from dangerous looters who were/are going wild in Asheville right now. We stayed in the buildings, as we had nowhere safe or near to go, gas stations were either down or had lines 3hrs long, and we guarded... We tried to keep the workers there fed, hydrated, clean clothes, ect... some semblance of stability & community, since the owner & managers weren't really there (something fairly normal even before this disaster... never really liked to answer phones in emergencies when their employees were in danger either). But on day 8 of no power, no running water, and hazardous guard duty, the owner told the workers who were there that they were a "liability" that he didn't want, and that even tho their homes were swept away &/or damaged & uninhabitable, they needed to find somewhere else to go, but still needed to come in to guard the 2 buildings.... Needless to say, more than a few quit on the spot, I among them.
To the guests who were there when the power & water went out, I am very sorry for your experience. My co workers & I did the best we could with what little information we were given by our absentee employers, & in the end, we, too, were just as overlooked, ignored & disregarded as you all. Please reach out to whomever you can, because they had mentioned that they do not plan on fully refunding or comping your stays. I will be doing the same, as well as reaching out to the Labor Board, The BBB, & more. *& yes, there is proof,...
Read moreHonestly pretty disappointing, the hotel is very clean and decorated pretty cool I will say that however the lady at the front desk was not very inviting, during check in she never smiled and just seemed miserable. When we arrived in the room it was much smaller then it looked in the pictures, this was not a good choice for a family, maybe alone but if you have a family with kids be prepared to be cramped in the room. The door of our room also did not lock and maintenance had to be called to repair the door, the man who arrived said 4 words to us, "ill be back soon" after he was unable to fix it. Here is the biggest issue for me, the bathroom doors are sliding barn type doors which is neat however they DO NOT LOCK and there is about a 2 to 3 inch gap from the door and wall so if anyone is in the room anything you do in the bathroom like using it!! Is open for the world to see. Zero privacy and some people prefer to stay in rooms with kids and do need a little privacy in the bathrooms. We just could not stay, we were there for about 20ish mins and decided it was not going to work, the female at the front was extremely rude and like with check in showed no emotion in her face when she said sorry it didn't work and that we will still be charged for the night because we entered the room. So we're out 100 bucks plus tax because the hotel rooms did not meet up to expectations based on the pictures and design of the room was not up to par with a family. We traveled 5 hours to stay and we ended up at a different hotel. We were excited to stay at this place because the pictures look amazing but when we had issues like the door and the unexpected free show the bathrooms provided we were met with not a lot of care from the front desk and reminded that we were not getting any money back since we touched something in the room. That is not how customer service is handled and even if it was the case explaining it a bit more friendly and with a bit more remorse...

This hotel is super modern and feels new HOWEVER I stayed Labor Day weekend booked directly through the hotel.. Checked during the early morning around 2 because we had attended an event. And not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR rooms had strands of black, or brown hair on the sheets! That means the beds weren’t changed for 4 rooms that I visited. You catch my drift? What rooms were cleaned? And if the bed wasn’t changed than what else was cleaned? We are in the middle of a pandemic and I was already nervous about traveling. After so many room changes and speaking with the front desk he was nice but told us no cleaning staff were available due to the hour. So we could leave and try to find a hotel that wasn’t sold out Labor Day weekend or stay.
To make matters worse… I filled out a hotel generated survey and said our room wasn’t clean. I was actually surprised to hear back from the manager Kourtnee. But when I explain to her my story she sounded so uninterested and said that the front desk checked the rooms and said they were clean even though I have pictures. So she basically accused me of lying and switching 4 rooms for fun at 2 AM? She even tried to hang up and I asked her if she could make it right and she gave me $35. We paid $175 that evening. That’s better than nothing but honestly guys I wouldn’t stay here unless you enjoy sleeping in unclean beds, a manager that doesn’t really care or stand behind their hotel, or really have any type of customer service skills to want to offer to make it right without you even asking, lol.
Sorry but I think you’re better off with another brand.
And if you ultimately choose to stay here please ask that your sheets are changed before you...
