My husbands phone went haywire when we were out of town visiting the area, so we stopped in to switch his service as he’s a manager and cannot be without his phone (even on vacation) in case of a store emergency. It was our first day in town, and we arrived 45mins before closing which we typically wouldn’t do, but due to unexpected car issues when we first arrived, making sure that we wouldn’t be stuck 4+ hrs away from home had been our main priority earlier in the day. Needless to say, it had already been an eventful day for us. The associate Kathy Moore assisted us, and from the moment we walked in the store she was insanely rude. Sucking her teeth, rolling her eyes, and banging on the counter before we even stated what we needed. Once she found out that my husband was wanting to switch his service, she became even more irritated and did not hide it saying “We close in 45mins” multiple times while proceeding to bang on the keyboard and desk and sighing loudly in irritation at our request repeatedly. We provided the information needed as quickly as possible as we knew that time was an issue, despite Kathy telling us that we were giving her incorrect information between sighs, eye rolls, and keyboard smashes. Information that we were getting and showing her straight from the device (AND from the previous carrier who I myself had to call for additional information and clarification as Kathy would not help at all). It wasn’t until the other associate (after Kathy made a show of pulling her away from another customer) explained to Kathy that SHE had not selected the correct phone type which is why the system was not taking the information. The entire process was horrific due to Kathy’s poor attitude and blatant irritation, and could have gone smoother had Kathy showed an once of professionalism. As I stated, we were visiting the area so maybe it’s better on other days, but I personally would not visit this store again. I understand that everyone has bad days, but we were having one as well, and still (despite how bad I wanted to tell her off by the end) we still showed Kathy Moore respect that we did not receive as a customer. Read moreI absolutely cannot stand up for the 2 hour wait just to pay my bill-my legs hurt me too bad, and for the most of them, they’re nice- you just have to have the “patience of Job” just waiting to pay your bill. The employees get in no hurry at all to get to you- they seem to think we have all day to stay there. It’s just not fair that we have to stand in that line when there is a very good kiosk there (that works fine, by the way) yet they’ve always got a plastic sticker on it saying it’s not in order, but it’s in perfect working order- on a couple of occasions we told them it worked fine- and we used it, paid our bill, and was gone! The lady with the short blonde hair here at our local Spectrum on tunnel road in Asheville, was very rude to me yesterday, as so many of us were just there to Pay our bill, yet she (WOULD NOT) allow us to use the kiosk, and it was working fine, I might add!! I’m trying to get my daughter to just buy a home antenna for our tv and forget Spectrum- as we are #1 customers, yet it’s an act of congress trying to pay our bill there. They need to get on the ball and not make us have to plan on spending half our day there, or they’re gonna lose more than just my business. It’s un-called for having to stand in a long line to pay your bill when they have a perfectly fine working kiosk that we could pay our bill on and get out of there. It’s just rediculous. My experience there is ALWAYS TERRIBLE, and I’m not 1 to complain, but Enough is Enough!!! I called and complained and they said to get new equipment why are you giving out bad equipment in the first place? awful. I hate having to be stuck with Spectrum bc of an apartment complexes rules. id have never chosen to be a customer. AGAIN: this internet goes out most nights of the week. it's a scam. spectrum is the worst Internet money can buy. they tell you you have wonderland speeds and then hand out faulty equipment because they know modem hardware isn't common knowledge. an absolute waste of time and money. I resent that I'm stuck with your horrible "product" that is your service I would have NEVER chosen to be a spectrum customer. WORST INTERNET IN AVL 100/100

Update 10/24: continues to go out nearly nightly . I can't believe you get off with peddling this "internet service"
