This was the worst experience I have ever had a nail salon. Simple dip polish change..you can’t really mess that up right? WRONG! My nails looked like they were done by a 5 year old. None of them were the same length or shape. They were just messy and bad. I had an uneasy feeling when he asked me if I wanted them cut or just filed down and when I said filed down he sawed them off with the dremel tool. The dip powder wasn’t even covering my whole nail on some fingers. When I pointed that out he just laughed and went to the next finger. He also used a gel top coat and had me put them in the gel light to dry which I have never done for dip powder. I touched my left pinky nail to the light so he had to put another layer of top coat on it..ok no big deal. But then when it was dry he put something else on it and the next day the whole nail had a cracked look to it. I didn’t realize just how bad they were until I got outside in the sunlight. I should have gone back in but I don’t think it would have done any good. I seen other staff be rude to clients about leaving a tip..client offered tech said no save your money put it away. AND did her manicure standing up the whole time! Also another client was talked out of what she came in to have done(by same tech who refused tip) The client had taken a job where she could not have the very long nails she had and asked they be cut down and removed. I’ve never given a review but I after a second bad experience, I feel I have to say something. I used to go to this salon often for manis/pedis while my son was at soccer practice. I liked it because it was clean and they usually did a good job. Then I switched to getting fake nails and ended up moving to a different salon after a bad experience. Tonight I decided to go back, after a few months without getting my nails done anywhere, to get a full set. I was given the same technician as the last time I was there, that led me to finding a new salon. I had some dread about it but I was willing to give him another chance because maybe he was just having an off day. Nope. He wasn’t. My nails look awful. They are uneven in length, super thick, lumpy, two are lifted at the tip and you can see all the way to the middle of my actual nail, not the shape I asked for, too long (after asking him to file them down more and telling him I like them short), and just overall bad work.

I came home and immediately tried filing them down and trying to fix them but it’s no big use. After paying over $60, I’m going to have to pay even more to have them fixed.

So the atmosphere was beautiful nice clean shop and the staff was very friendly. But, they didn’t navigate us around “just expected us to know a place we have never been to” they rushed through my nails for no reason, they wasn’t busy most of the staff was sitting around on phones. I appreciated one thing from my nail tech she told me upfront that she may not be able to do the design I wanted but would do her best. Totally fine with that, what I’m not okay with is the quality of these nails.. they are crooked, some are thick, some are super thin. The sides on some wasn’t even painted.. I’m not a stickler when it comes to these things so I ignored that.. but what is totally not okay is I’ve not even had this set for a week and half and I have four nails out of ten left. Gel nails are suppose to last for a long time.. you go back to get refills not a brand new set. I got them done Saturday April 9th and todays date is the 18th of April. I will not return back to this place. If you like non quality work for a price this is the place for you.
