Sold me a jute trellis product advertised as 325’. Twine was maybe 50’ only. T posts are 10-12’ apart. Both cans spanned this amount. Called fifth season and they were cool with it and apologized, said manager would call me the following day. I didn’t receive a phone call several days later, so called back, hung up after being on hold for over 13 minutes. Called back an hour later and got some disrespectful employee who was irritable and wouldn’t put me thru to the manager or answer if that manager could give a refund. Employee kept talking over me when I tried to get a clear understanding of what was happening. Employee stated I could come by tomorrow, I explained I have to work then go see my son, asked when the next day Cassie the manager would be in. Employee just hung up. I had just won custody of my son after five months of no contact earlier that day. I’ve been farming commercially 15+ years and will never support fifth season again because of how this inexperienced employee treats her customers, and that the managers somehow allow it. It is sad to see how fifth season treats...
Read moreUpdate 2nd attempt to refill my bottle asked for sample before I purchased. Told once again no samples. Though they would sell me a ounce and add it to my bill. I refuse to purchase a new product without knowing the taste as you stated it's expensive. Interesting enough another customer who didn't have a bottle to refill was given samples of two different flavors. How does this make any sense. Say what you want but I feel really singled out. Thanks for reaching out but at this point I will take my business elsewhere, including your garden center that I loved. Namaste
Was my go to place for Shanti Jun Elixirs as I purchase 32oz normally which they offer per ounce (pricey). However the customer is no longer able to sample new flavors nor did they have the ingredients information? Never complained about overcharging after measuring ounces was less than purchased at home. Appears the staff's free consumption of Jun is being passed on to the customer. Fifth Season hopefully will realize bad customer relationships =...
Read moreI truly appreciate supporting local as much as possible, not only myself as a shopper but in businesses that carry local and regional products. I am able to buy Dirtcraft Organics Levitation seed starting mix and their superior potting and indoor soils, hands down the best made in the SE, out of Marshall, NC. Fifth season offers seasonal starts, potato starts, fermenting and alcohol making supplies, mushroom spore and inoculation supplies, indoor and hydroponics equipment, the best fertilizers and feeds, heirloom and organic seeds, and of course, they have a beautiful nursery. But let's not forget the fact that they have a bar! You can get micro brews poured from icy cold taps while you shop or hang out and talk mushroom growing and craft brewing. They offer classes and pre-orders. Staff is always helpful, friendly, and sincerely interested in having conversations around whatever you may be in to. Go local and go to...
