Buy bikes every year after Christmas to give to kids who don't get bikes as gifts because their parents can't afford them or for some other reason unknown to me. It is usually a bad situation that has to do with financial difficulty. People donate bikes to me, I buy some from offer up, swip-swap, get them from the trash, or wherever and just fix them to be rideable and decent so these kids can get to school and jobs. This year my normal bike shop had closed so I took about 7 bikes to Bike and Beach for repairs and assessment or parts in the back of my truck.

On the night of January 2, 2017 I backed up and walked inside before removing any from the bed and walked inside. When I walked in the bearded employee greeted me with "how can I help you?" I said, "I wanted to see if you wanted any business?" He replied, "If it has anything to do with what's in the back of that truck then no." I was shocked. I thought he was kidding. He went on to tell me he had 4 weeks of repair work. I said I was in no hurry. The kids didn't even know they might get a bike. I was a paying customer. He said no thanks. I said, "you are really turning business away"? He said, "yes". I was half pissed, half shocked.

Don't go there. He doesn't deserve it. Is that really who you want to give your business to? I may have to eat at the Loop more often just to tell the people walking...

What an awesome experience. Travis Morton was all by himself this past Sunday. The phone was ringing off the hook, people needed help and people wanted to use their air pump. Travis never skipped a beat. Never got flustered and maintained his happy attitude. Every person got taken care of in a friendly, professional and quickly way. That includes me. I went in to buy a cruiser bike. Didn't know exactly what I needed. In addition I have some disability issues as well. In no time at all he had me on the bike for the right price. I've been riding my new Cruiser Bike all over Atlantic Beach. If you need a bike Travis and "Bike and Beach"...

Reading the negative reviews makes me laugh because from our experience, the owner is just REAL and down to earth. And it just seems like people were getting butt hurt over petty issues.

I feel he just has a personality that says, “This is the product I have, this is what is worth my time, take it or leave it.”
