We stayed here to be close to the outlet mall. The customer service needs improvement. The hotel is beautiful; nothing wrong there. My check-in person was very blah. I don’t know him as a person to really evaluate him but in his interaction with me, he was less than enthusiastic. He just placed the paperwork and a pen on the counter; he only went over it because I purposely would not until he spoke to me about it. I didn’t feel welcomed nor was I thanked for choosing the hotel. We had two rooms. I called down to ask for towels and bedding; the person who answered only repeated to me what I asked for; I said yes; then they hung up in my ear. It took almost an hour to get what I needed. My kids called down for towels on check out morning and were told they were out in the entire hotel. We had to scrape together towels and go get towels from the pool area. The refrigerator in room 320 was filthy. A dirty towel from someone else’s stay was left in room 318 bathroom. The toilet sits very low. So if you have bad knees you might not want to pick this hotel. I am not sure if they offer handicap accessible rooms. The kicker was we got back late from the arcade/mall and wanted to swim before the pool closed. The front desk lady came in the pool area telling me to not let my kid scream because some people had came to the pool door and turned around because they heard kids in the pool. There was another gentleman there already with 2 kids and we literally had just got in there. She was very rude in her delivery; but claimed she didn’t mean me she was talking to the gentleman but she came directly to me. She said she would allow the kids to stay and she wouldn’t kick us out this time; like she was doing us a favor. I told her to have a nice night. Based on this experience, I won’t be staying here again and I’ll encourage others to follow suit. I think with the evolving climate of this world, persons feel emboldened to treat others in a way that is less than kind and gracious. I am very big on customer service and especially when I’m spending over 200 a night for a room. I also didn’t receive a welcome email from the manager of the hotel prior to our stay, which did strike me as odd! I hope that customer relations improve in this hotel. It’s a one and done for me! If you choose to stay here, I hope you have a better experience based off the improvements made because of my...

Read moreNestled in the heart of Auburn Hills, my visit to The Crowne Plaza was nothing short of fabulous! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel right at home.
One of the first things that struck me about The Crowne Plaza was its impeccable cleanliness. Every corner, every surface gleamed with a sense of pristine perfection that spoke volumes about the dedication of the staff to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. It's rare to find a hotel that not only meets but exceeds expectations in this regard, and TCP truly stands out in this aspect.
However, what truly sets The Crowne apart is its staff. From the receptionists to the housekeeping team, every member of the staff seemed genuinely invested in ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. Their kindness and attentiveness knew no bounds, and their willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs left a lasting impression on me.
David and Jacob at the front desk are incredibly welcoming and accommodating and oh my gosh....Liz in the restaurant made me feel like more than just a guest – she made me feel like family and was so attentive to my every need, she kept me stocked with my favorite hot tea throughout the day! She is just a lovely person and an asset to such a fine team of people here.
In addition to its immaculate cleanliness and exceptional staff, The Crowne Plaza also boasts beautiful decor, stunning detail, delicious dining options (especially their breakfast), and I love that there is plenty of parking right near the door in case of inclement weather.
Overall, my experience at Crowne Plaza (I've had several visits this year) was nothing short of exceptional. It's not often that you come across a hotel that manages to combine the highest standards of cleanliness with the warmest hospitality, but they do just that – and so much more. I can't wait to return in the Fall!
I want to extend a sincere heartfelt thanks to everyone at The Crowne Plaza for their treatment and kindness. I'm here so often this is starting to feel like my home away from home. You guys are truly the BEST!! See you at the company Christmas...
