Let me start by talking about the rooms, while not the worst I've seen I found stains on the pillow a cigarette burn on the blanket and a water stain on the roof. The shower was peeling white paint strip, I found a big in the rusty sink and the glass shower door felt very dangerous it almost came off the tracks and I had to use both hands to keep it in place when I moved it. As for the service at the hotel, I called ahead to inform them that I had a service animal but when my husband went to check in the assistant told him that we could not have a dog at the hotel even after he explained to her that our dog is a service animal and not considered a pet and she, rather rudely, said she did not, care no dogs allowed. So we asked to speak to a manager and after explaining the situation we were able to check in without further problem. We checked in on a week day and the place was basically empty but for some reason they gave us room 101 right next to the check in desk, across from the public and employee toilets, and next door to the storage closet the cleaning crew uses everyday. We booked for 5 nights and every day we would hear noise from all workers coming and going from the supply closet bathrooms and so on. Every evening at around 6pm noise would start up in whatever room was located above us, the noise was not from the typical noisy guest, it sounded like construction work banging possibly hammering and extremely loud stomping across the floors. The breakfast was disappointing, besides the usual pantry items like muffins, cereal and pop tarts they had scrambled eggs, dry biscuits and fried chicken cutlets with no gravy. Oh and you could make a waffle but no special toppings. This same menu was served every morning. We ended needing to stay an extra night and asked if we could have a late check out and the weekday manager told us yes it was no problem and not to worry about it. At 10:30am the cleaning lady came knocking on the door saying that the manager (I'm guessing the weekend one) told her we couldn't have a late check out because it was the weekend and I quote "We be busy". So we had to rush to finish packing to leave right away. Our bill for our 6 night stay came out to be 700 dollars, I believe we could have found a fairly nicer place to stay for those rates.

I honestly cannot recommend this place unless the only alternative is sleeping in your car and even then it depends on what kind of car you have. The building itself isn't that bad. It has potential. However, it is either understaffed, badly staffed, or both. When I arrived the two people in line in front of me had already checked in, but had been given keys to rooms that were already occupied and had walked in on them (that's a great way for someone to get accidently shot). When I got to my room (thankfully unoccupied - I knocked first) I immediately went to latch the door incase someone should be given the wrong door key and try and come in my room in the middle of the night. Of course the door latch was missing. Looking around for another way to secure the door I found the missing latch along with tools to reattach it, just left their, forgotten. Bathroom had no towels, or any type of soap. I'm not a picky person and I really can tolerate a lot and I was exhausted so I figured I just get some soap and sleep fast and go. A very frustrated employee informed me that, "they have nothing but crackheads cleaning the rooms." Ugh... whatever. I think they were ready to quit on the spot. I just went to bed. I didn't bother showering there, I wouldn't unless I had water socks or something. Floor was bad, I stepped on a fake fingernail. Pretty gross and hurt like hell. Shouldn't have taken my shoes off until I was in bed. Sheets were on backwards. At this point it started to become comical. I've worked at hotels and know where to find bedbugs and I was definitely going to check. Thankfully no bugs. That's where I (and everyone should) draw the line unless you want horrible new roommates when you get home. I put a chair against the door and slept fast. Was out of there a 5am never to return.

First, ALWAYS take reviews into account. I booked this hotel because it was close to my niece and we were in Augusta for her graduation. There is no option for ZERO stars but this is what I would give. I read the reviews and thought it couldn’t be that bad because it’s a well known hotel, Wyndham. WRONG! This is a franchise owned by people who do not believe in cleaning. As mentioned in another review, the halls have a strong smell of marijuana. The carpet in the halls is disgusting with stains all over it. The ice machine is rusted and had towels on the floor under it to catch the leaking water. The dining area ceiling had several stains from some sort of leak. The elevator is small and I’m not sure if it’s ever cleaned. There was so much dirt in it. When we got to the room, we checked the beds….the mattress pad had BLOOD on it…and not just a little. Someone started their period on that bed and the staff left the mattress pad on the bed and put a clean sheet on top of it. The other bed had a huge stain on it. I couldn’t be sure what that was. Both comforters had blood spots and what appeared to be feces on it. We had to get new linen and change it all ourselves and soak the beds in Lysol. We would have left but it was 11pm and no availability in the area. There were several graduations happening that weekend. The owners denied any sort of refund for the troubles. I literally stayed up most of the night worried about what we were breathing in. I have reported this to corporate Wyndham as well as the Augusta health department. Do not stay here!! Listen to the reviews. The ones that have anything positive to say are probably written by the owners friends and family.

Please believe the reviews. OMG! Traveling on business, Wyndham would be my last pick or possibly not a pick at all but it was cheap, quick, and I was exhausted. I am still not sure if my door was unlocked when I went into the building bc I am almost sure I turned around to lock the door before entering. Someone went into my car and stole about 12 pairs of my shoes and clothes. Majority of the clothes and shoes had not been worn. They took my work bag with all of my identification in it, and other personal items. Good thing I removed my IPad and two phones. I normally leave them in my backpack but instead I left them at the office the night before.

When I reported it, the front desk agent said he could not show me the footage bc an officer nor the manager was not present. After meeting the officer at my job to do a report, Mr. Officer pretty much made me feel like I should not do a report. I honestly needed it for proof to retrieve my social security cards and birth certificate. I met with the second Officer back at the hotel to view the camera footage to see what could be found. He didn’t want to do a report either but he sucked it up 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️.

Before Mr. Officer came, I’d just met with the owner of the slumps. She apologized and bragged about how her car locks 30 minutes after no activity. She proceeded by telling me nothing like this has ever happened at the property before 🙄🙄. She showed me the location of all cameras. My car sat right under one and that’s why I felt safe parking there. Apparently after the office went in to see what he could see, my car could not be seen on footages between both hotels. Odd but why was I not surprised. OMG! I should have went with my gut feeling the night before. Grandma always used to say, “go witcha first mind.” I’m beating my self up bc the gut feeling not to stay was clear but I ignored it.

Everyone wants to blame it on the homeless people. Very well could have been but I feel like it could have been an inside job too bc who else would have known the camera was not going to pick up any footages of a camera directly on the top of my car or someone going into it.

The property is nasty and it looks like it was forced in the middle of the other two hotel. It looks like mobile home lot. They renovated the property but it was a cheap renovation. It’s nice if you glance the property but details really show once you get up on things. The people of this area walk all day and night. I was so uncomfortable.

Lesson learned!...

THEFT!!! Update!! 11-22-21 Below is the review I first left trying to check in the hotel. I left that Saturday evening night to go to work in the area. When I return later that night my clothing that I left on a made bed was stolen and the bathroom door was shot which I left open that’s how I knew someone came in my room. Now they knew someone was staying there because my toiletry bag was left on the bathroom counter. When I went downstairs the front desk to speak to the management on duty Sabrina, same woman that was rude to me during check-in and treated me with terrible hospitality because I was trying to rest my eyes in the lobby. Because I could not get an early check in at 2 PM when most rooms are cleaned after 11 AM.

I told her that my clothing had been taken out of my room. Asked if she could try to look for it in the laundry room or somewhere. She never even stood up once hearing that my clothing was stolen. Looked at me as if it was not a shock it was not a big deal and couldn’t care less I was disgusted that management would behave such away. I have yet to hear back from corporate or the company for reimbursement and compensation of my property! Sunday morning when I tried to report this to the new staff they were pleasant shocked and did let me leave my number however wouldn’t be surprised if that manager, Sabrina again on duty discarded of it. A woman next to me that Sunday morning checking out had the same problem on the same third floor with THEFT! Unless you want your clothing stolen!!! I strongly recommend you Do NOT stay here!!

11-21-21 Very RUDE front desk lady. Arrived early from a flight, asked if any rooms were clean and available to check in early, no and she was not pleasant at all! So my coworker and I both waiting for rooms in lobby as I’m trying to rest my eyes and have been up since 5am it’s 1pm and no rooms are available and won’t let me check in till 3pm, she storms over snapping her fingers at me saying you can’t sleep in here. This company clearly does not care about hospitality for their guests! I do plan to return to the area for work here again soon and will Ask the company NOT to book here again! I suggest the company get more...
