My husband & I entered restaurant tonight Sunday at 9:20pm. He immediately went to the restroom. There was no host/hostess at entrance. The bar was visibly seen behind hostess stand. Bartender was wiping down bar area. He glanced up at me & kept cleaning. After standing about 5 min. I said "Excuse me are you all still open?" Bartender said with an attitude "for a few minutes" He then called someone via headset " Get up here" Host came ( later found out his name was Josh) and seated us in a section directly to the side of the bar. After seeing a couple of waitresses chatting and just leaving the section & bartender (Brock) to continue cleaning bar area & adjacent tables..I said Excuse me again to another waitress entering the area and asked who's taking care of this section. She said "well I guess I am. I thought I was done a hour ago" She apologized for us waiting and pleasantly took our order. We had ordered cocktails, appetizer & meal all at once. Her name was Ester.(I asked for names upon leaving restaurant) She placed order & bartender continued cleaning. She came from kitchen and said he's gonna make your drinks now. Drinks came with no salt on rim or no limes and I had ordered extra salt & limes. He sucked his teeth and said give me a minute. Waitress brought salted glass and poured my margarita in it. Manager Nate came out and asked had we been sitting a while before anyone had came to attend to us. I said yes. My husband uncomfortable now because he didn't want anyone in back messing/contaminating our food. Manager apologized and said he would take care of the appetizers. He was attentive to us after food came. We got food approximately 9:50p and were finished eating at 10:11 p. At 10 pm bar tv went off (was visible to us) & music stopped. Read moreShowed up around 5:30 left just after 7:30 Manager was pretty condescending. We told they were very busy (they were absolutely not busy) and that they only had 1 chef. Table was super sticky. Was told it was because of it being old and sun constantly being on those tables Took nearly 15 minutes before we got drinks. We got coconut shrimp and calamari as an app. Calamari tasted off and coconut shrimp was over cooked. Took over an hour for food to be "ready" and waitress said she was going to get it from the lamp. That took 20 minutes. So the plates were incredibly hot and food was dry. I ordered medium rare filet, butterfly shrimp, orzo and Brussel sprouts. Only the sprouts were edible. Filet was medium well. Orzo was dry and crunchy. Shrimp was dry and tasteless. One of my sons got popcorn shrimp, fries and crab legs. Popcorn shrimp tasted a bit weird but bad. I thought it was the oil as it had similar taste to calamari but manager said that was impossible. The rest of his food was good. My other son got lobster and shrimp combo with fries. Lobster was undercooked in the middle and rubbery on the outside. It also smelled very fishy. Like it was old. My husband took a small bite and spit it out and refused to let our son try it. My husband got his food last. Like nearly 10 minutes after our food was delivered. They said it was fresh and she had to wait. He got a bowl of clam chowder. It was warm when he got it so not fresh. He said it was alright. A table behind us also got 2 bad lobsters, overcooked crab legs and burned and hard burger. I don't recall the last time we had such awful food and service. I'm only thankful it was a gift card someone gave us. They did take the food off we didn't eat and left on the table. But even after all that, over 2 hours it was still $55. I'm baffled for sure. Read more2847 Washington RD, Augusta, GA 30909- 2173. Visited on 7/1/2024, checked out at 1 pm. The most DISGUSTING food EVER! I started to go and get Mexican food. Against my better judgment, I went to Red Lobster and it proved to be a mistake. The Shrimp Alfredo was gross! it had no Alfredo sauce. And it appeared as LIPTON CUP of soup or something but very dry. They remade it and this time it was RUNNY! VERY RUNNY! I order this dish all the time so I know how it's suppose to be. The Manager TAMARA was unbelievably RUDE. Wasn't willing to do much. I wasn't trying to get a free meal at all. I just wanted a good dining experience which I didn't get because my meal was interrupted because they kept remaking shrimp alfredo and broccoli. . The broccoli was wilted and overcooked in the worst way! I don't understand how the cook and waitress even brought these gross dishes from the kitchen! They didn't even look appropriate! The manager took $4 from my bill and slapped together a cheese cake dessert which looked so suspicious that I refused to take it home because I didn't trust it. I asked Tamara what was she willing to do to retain me as a customer.Crickets! $4 off the bill was all. I didn't want to argue so I paid my $17.35 bill because I did eat shrimp scampi, salad, and over cooked Walt shrimp. Tamara has no business managing a restaurant. I HOPE THIS RED LOBSTER CLOSES DOWN. THEY SO HAVE A REPUTATION FOR SERVING GROSS FOOD. I WILL PATRONIZE THE RED LOBSTER ON WALTON WAY GOING FORWARD. This food is not worth anyone's money, especially if you work hard for your money!
