Solid option to get food if you’re in a pinch for time, or looking for something very late at night, as it closes at 4am. All of the food is average but the price for their signature combo “The cookout tray” is very reasonable and comes with with adequate proportions. That being said, almost every time you visit any cookout location, there will be at least 1 thing wrong with your order, so be sure to double check before leaving. This time they didn’t even bother to put a drink in my large cup, just filled it to the brim with the small crumbles of ice and maybe put just one squeeze of coke so the color would have a brown hue like a snow cone just to fool me. Overall, it’s fast food restaurant, so the experience is what you’d expect. However, it is nice to eat something that’s not Waffle House for the 200th time when you happen to be out and about or driving at a very late time.

I come to this location often and sometimes the employees let me get sauce but this one particular lady on the night shift just picks and chooses when she wants to give a hard time. TODAY , June 27th around 2AM the drive thru told lady said she could only give out one sauce ( a bbq ) when I ordered a nugget plate + a chicken wrap and even OFFERED to PAY for an additional sauce. NOT KNOWING my cousin was in the car behind me .. she handed him two sauces .. just off the strength! Without the hassle or speech about sauce shortages .. She basically capped me down & I don’t like that! Like why make up this whole story about having. A shortage ?

I don't expect much from Cookout.. it's cheap fast food. But this place has been gradually going down hill. You call this a Burger Quesidilla? Prob less than a single ounce of burger... might as well just be cheese, what happen to the good Ole days... okra burnt to crisp / inedible. Forgetting sides... idk.. I only leave bad reviews if it's a repetitive fail, and e strikes your out.. shouldve taking pictures of the trays with holes in them from them throwing in hot grease, Do better.

I want to start off by saying that I've never, ever left a bad review. If I didn't have a good experience somewhere, I usually brush it off and forget about it, but this I can't. Last night (March 24th) I went to cookout. It was around 1-2 in the morning, and I usually wouldn't pick up food this late but was busy late and needed to get my family food. My toddlers were in the car and I was just trying to pick up something quick so I could get home and get them in bed since we had such a late day already. When I pulled in the drive thru, nobody asked me to make an order. I sat there for about 2 minutes and then I asked if they were open and if I can go ahead and order. That's when the boy told me to go on with my order. So I go ahead and order my food. I pull up and was waiting at the window for about 30 minutes. I have never had to wait for food longer in my life including restaurants. The guy that was taking orders at the window never told us why we were waiting so long, never apologized for the wait, he never came back to the window to say anything to us at all. He stood there chit-chatting with the other workers. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left. Or if I ever received the chance to, I would have asked for a refund but like I said, he never came back to talk to us or anything. There was a lady making milkshakes and she grabbed the banana with her bare hand and put it in the cup. No gloves on or anyting. I saw her touch a bunch of stuff back there so I know her hands were not clean. It's just really disgusting. I almost wanted to go to the cars behind us to let them know because I just don't think that is sanitary and I would not drink a milkshake if I'd known somebody touched something in it with their bare hands. It makes me question the rest of the food. The boy at the window that was taking orders was also making me feel extremely nervous and worried because he had my credit card for about 5 minutes and I've never had that happen nor do I understand why something like that should happen. It makes me wonder if he was writing down my credit card information. I finally recieved my food but never got an apology for the wait or an explanation as to why it took so long. I only ordered 2 trays. I was given my drinks at the very beginning when we first got to the window but I never received straws. After I left, I realized I didn't recieved straws, napkins, cutlery- nothing. They also forgot My dipping sauce that I paid for. My quesadillas were burnt, the chicken was black and crispy. I understand that it was very late and I'm sure they were all very tired and we're ready to go home but if Cook-Out can't run a business that late then they shouldn't have their business open until 3 A.M.. There really isn't any excuse for any of this to happen and I won't be going back after the horrible experience. My advice to you, if you decide to go, is to just make sure you don't go late. I don't recall having any issues...

Worst expierence I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!!! They treated me like garbage tonight in the drive thru. I’ve worked at a restaurant for years and if I ever acted how the drive thru girls acted towards me I would be fired on the spot. The first girl made rude comments toward me as soon as I pulled up. I didn’t say anything cause I’m pretty understanding and tried to let it go. She asked if I wanted sauce and she laughed in my face rolled her eyes at me. I calmly asked her for her name and she said I don’t have one and slammed the sliding door. I stayed at the window (bc one I didn’t have my food yet) and when another girl opened the window you could hear the first girl screaming profanities about me. I had to tell the second girl what I was missing and then asked for the first girls name. She said I don’t know. I said you don’t know your coworkers name? I then asked for the managers name and she said LaDashia. I pull into a parking lot and call the restaurant bc I didn’t want to hold up any other customers behind me. I spoke with a man who was the manager on duty. He then informed me that there was no LaDashia at this location and the General Managers name was actually Damion but he isn’t there and won’t be there tonight. I was lied to, and treated with such rudeness and attitude. These were the worst employees I’ve ever dealt with and I’m a manger at a restaurant who has worked plenty of drive thru shifts and this behavior was beyond believable. The manager I talked to said he would talk to the two female employees but I don’t feel like that’s just considering she was screaming profanities about me slamming the door in my face and refusing to tell me anyone’s name. If someone could contact me about doing something about this situation that would be great. I had a passanger with me in the car and their behavior was not just unprovoked but uncalled for and unprofessional. You can’t treat people like garbage and I really wish something would actually be...

Edit: If someone comes through and requests no bun on a burger, it might not just be because of a diet. They might be gluten intolerant. Thank you for literally poisoning my boyfriend!

This location has been my go to location since they opened. However, over the past year there's been one issue after another and at this point I'm actually telling people to avoid this location.

The last time I was at this location (2 days ago) my total for a Cook Out tray came up to a dollar higher than any of the other locations. I asked about this and the girl at the window was very polite but the girl next to her said, "WHAT'S HER PROBLEM?" The girl at the window relayed my question and the girl next to her yelled at me, "BECAUSE IT IS!" The girl at the window just shrugged while handing me my food.

Second to last time I was there I was told I can't have any sauce and the window was slammed in my face. The girl then walked away from the window, making it clear I wasn't getting any sauce of any variety.

Every time I've been to this location in the past year the food has been poor quality. It's been either burned to the point it's inedible or there's been pieces of brunt food stuck to my food, making it obvious the grills haven't been cleaned in quite some time. I've even gotten a quesadilla with ashes of burnt food inside.

I understand they're trying to get food out quickly, but being extremely rude to regular customers and having poor quality food has become the norm at this location. I used to visit this location 3 to 4 times per week. Now I will go out of my way to visit other locations. It's a shame that the fanciest location in town has gone this...
