**BEST PLACE TO STAY IN BAKERSFIELD** Excellent and well-maintained RV park. The spots are immaculate and adjacent to manicured green lawns with plenty of trees/shade (see photos). The asphalt drive pads are mostly level and equipped with full hookups which are top notch (two threaded spigots & well lit). Sites are more ample than average with a concrete entertainment pad & sidewalk. Trash dumpsters nearby, but not infringing on any particular spot. Saw attentive staff members walking around (past closing) in the later evening hours so they are on it. Would only recommend that staff consider re-painting the spot numbers at the curb since the decals on the back pedestals are hard to see at night. Also, there were no picnic tables...that could simply be a COVID thing. Spots are ASSIGNED so no fear that you'll lose it (like Orange Grove RV). IE, NO LOCK FEES. Reasonably priced at about $50/night. They also have a pool and nice general/gift store for light shopping if needed. We were able to stream Roku (light buffering) with the free WiFi...that's a rarity. Recommend securing an end-cap spot or spot 58 which is directly adjacent to decommissiooned spot 59; basically have a double-sized grassy area with no immediate neighbors on the door side - Bingo! Just don't reserve it when I go there :) Lastly, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...close to numerous eateries, gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Costco Gas is 5 min away and we filled up there. If you are under 35', don't see an issue with getting into Costco with the turn out radius - account for tailwag. If towing, get gas and hook up just outside the gas exit area as there is a nice shady stretch to do so. This will be our #1 place when transiting through Bakersfield.

Quiet, clean, park, with nice staff. Hidden in a business area by some hotels. We got a same day reservation on the river. Nice big fence to prevent random coming in the park. Place was quiet and filled with mostly people's personal RV's and trailers. We were one of 5 Cruise America's. Pull thru spots in the middle. Back in if you want river spot, in my opinion not worth the extra $ if you're there on a stop over. Bathroom's were super clean, showers nice with good water pressure, and most importantly.... FREE! Laundry was $1.50 each. Each spot has gravel to park, concrete for setting up table etc and grass between neighbor's spot. No tables or bbq pits provided. There is one area that has a BBQ and two picnic tables. You can use the pool, the larger rec room, or exercise room. Perfect for a one night stay en route. The place was about 50% full on a weekday. We didn't hear any noise from anyone which was lovely. Highlight was there was a Costco across the street so we could fill up for cheap and head out. Easy access to the freeway. Would definitely stay here again, all that for $45!!!!

The entire park is very well maintained...it's clean and manicured. They have many pull thru sites that make it easy to get in and out. They have a very well stocked store that has RV and novelty items at good prices. Access is easy and close to the freeway making this a good place for stopovers or longer stays. They do have some longer term residents, but all of them are impeccably well maintained too so that if anything, they add to the pleasant atmosphere. The pull thru sites are setup so that if you wanted buddy sites with a friend, it would be easy to accommodate with a patch of grass between you. RV sites are hard-packed small gravel with concrete patios while the rest of the park is asphalt.

This is a very nicely set up rv spot right on the kern river. There are two gates with access to the river that keep other people out so no one is freely wandering into the rv park. The sites are very decently sized and we had no trouble getting all of our belongings to fit with some extra room. The store is convenient. Pool is nice. They have a clubhouse with tv and a pool table. A small gym is also there. The lady who works in the store is probably one of the nicer people I’ve met in California. We did however have a few issues. We travel with a brand new interstate trailer that holds my husbands tools for his job. He’s a general contractor so we travel quite a bit. After the first 3 days of being there we were asked to remove it. Even though it doesn’t state anywhere in the rules that it’s not allowed, and I asked when we made the reservation and it was fine then. Anything else is allowed. Portable showers, Rubbermaid sheds, laundry lines, etc. There is a neighborhood skunk there as well. He’s on the small side, but don’t let that fool you….. he makes his presence known!!! There are several overflow parking spots throughout the park. However we were told they can only be used for a few days with prior permission from the owner. The location here was convenient based upon my husbands job site. Close access to the freeways. Costco is basically the next block over as well as a few gas stations, convenience stores, and...

I wanted so badly to give this park a great review, but after my stay my opinion was drastically changed. The park is well maintained, lots of grass and concrete pads. No problem setting up and it was a welcome place after driving all day. However caddy-corner to my site was a small, one axle trailer with a boatload of children and at least two dogs. These children made any hope of a peaceful evening impossible. They were all over the place, screaming, yelling, throwing balls in other sites, and the mother was just as loud trying to keep them under control. Every time I'd come out of my RV with my dog, their small dog would continually bark. One of the kids came close to my site with the dog on a leash to have his dog stand there and bark at mine. I had to ask him to leave. Around 7am the next morning it all started again. The mother was hollering as she chased after one of the kids, the kids were all out hollering, making weird noises and just being total pains. I went to the office when it opened and reported the problem I had. I walked out after the office lady said, "Well, kids are going to play, this is a campground." In other words, the hell with you paying customer, the kids can do anything they want. I thought I'd be offered a refund, but ended up having to ask for it only to be texted, "I don't have the authority to do that; I'll have to speak to the manager." I checked out as...
