Calicia Figueroa very rude worker Took my order. For my daughter’s birthday we order a small 6 inch cake. This is my third birthday cake so Calicia Took my order year ago, I was highly recommend from our church Valley Baptist Family Church that I go to but , Calicia is the second time took my order always having an attitude because I asked her to change the colour design and she wasn’t too happy that she had to rewrite it first time she overcharged me and she had to fix it. She called the manager. The manager said give the customer what she is asking for and take off the pearls Wish I could hear the owner. Tell her that thank God for the owner was on my side. on the first cake that I got last year She had a big attitude with that never said anything I went to go get my daughter’s birthday cake it came out to $66. Total 6 inch when I pull out a $50 bill That was my choice and I told her I will give the rest 16 dollars when I pick up the cake because that’s all the cash I had that day Saturday she said no she wants full amount There’s no deposits you have to pay in full or else or I would have to cancel your order I told her you’re the one that asked me from last year that I either could pay 25% deposit Which is also on the website when you order a cake and she tried to blame it on Rosemary she when she was the one that took my order which mine was a small cake and she demanded that I have to pay it in full I had to get it from my daughter from her birthday money . And when I asked her last time you took my order you told me that I could pay when I could pick up the cake everybody else that works there always smiles always helps every time I come in and get cupcakes cookies everybody there is so friendly so nice just that one person in the store with a big attitude I hope the owner could fix this how she treats not just me but probably treats other customers with attitude and stuck up as well. So when I went to go pick up the cake today, May 17 and I told her that I would wait for the other lady to give me the birthday cake and also I told her I let the owner know what you did to me Her hands went up the air yelled at me and I just kept quiet and being polite and said nicely. I’ll wait for the other lady to help me and she was very nice. She helped me very kind very understanding. I did call the other day and I did ask for somebody to help me and that I don’t want her to help me because she’s always having an attitude for no reason 🙏🙏 I cakes are amazing but I will not pick Calicia to get a special order definitely asked for the other girls Rosemary is wonderful❤️ When I order a cake for my son, Rosemary helped me. She is amazing. _ ✌️ update got a review back on the website says 25% deposit which I gave $50 on front. It’s not like I came in not give nothing. I had a $50 bill. I’m not gonna burn $50. Read moreI never post reviews but I left this place so upset and felt I was treated unfairly that I must post a review. I was a previous customer. We loved their cake. We decided to do a cake testing appointment for my daughter's and niece's sweet 16. Our appointment was at 1 p.m. They had us wait till 1:36 p.m. We received no apology. Cathy simply stated to us that she was ready for us. We started with questions about the event how many people, what kind of cake etc. We only wanted two two tier cakes because we're having a dessert table. Cathy pulls out her binder with her desserts list. I stated to her that we didn't want any desserts as someone else was taking care of that. She started to explain to us that we wouldn't be able to purchase a cake unless we also ordered the desserts from her. She stated that she had a bad experience in the past that someone else put the dessert table together and wasn't up to her standard and received a bad review. She was not going to allow that to happen. Unless we posted a disclaimer sign infront of the dessert table stating the persons business name and information. Then proceeded to inquire if that person was a professional. I felt that her needs are put first instead of the customers needs. This is a special event that is very important for my daughter and niece. Cathy didn't really care. Read moreI tried to give them a second chance and again was disappointed. Waited over 45 during our cake tasting appointment. When my groom went to pick up our cake it wasn't even done they brought out a plain white cake with none of my decorations on it. Then because of their screw up my cake was rushed to be decorated and not done they way I wanted. My cake photos were ruined because of a massive bubble that was on the very too layer of the buttercream. We wanted pink champagne flavor and tasted like we got their pink passion instead. Frosting was also dry like it had been sitting way out to long and then been recooled. Each layer was suppose to have a black frosting ribbon on the base I got a 1 in white ribbon on it so it made it hard to cut. What pisses me off more is being told that it was practically my fault the frosting bubbled because they said it's caused by not keeping the cake cold which it went from the bakery into a cold car and then into a fridge at venue 5 min drive tops! When asking what they would do to fix it i got offered a 10 dollar refund plus 20% store credit which is insulting and a joke of a customer service offer. Rosemary ( who said she was the owner when I asked to speaker with owner) said that was all she could do for me. I will never use this bakery again and I will not recommend to anyway!
