I don't even know where to start! We came from out of state for a funeral my husband 2 children and I . Didn't wanna drive home the 6 hours so decided to get a room for the night. It was 100 bucks so we weren't expecting the Marriott. But we definitely expected a clean usable room! My mother in law came with us to the hotel to see us off for the night. So we stayed outside saying our goodbyes for about 5 mins then we started unloaded our vehicle, and when we opened the door to our room I almost threw up! The smell was horrible.All of the outlets and light switches were taped up and unusable, the outlets on the outer side of the wall was literally melted from there heating system, the TV didn't work couldn't turn it on, the toilet seat was literally on the floor, the knob to work the disgusting dirty shower was broken off and on the side of the tub there was poop smeared on the walls of the bathroom there were white "stuff" on the "clean blankets" so we very quickly put our stuff back in our vehicle because we didn't feel safe even bringing in the room. I went back to the front desk, ( it all happened in 15 mins or less) and told them all my complaints and that there was no way we are staying and I wanted a refund. The older "gentleman" tried to say " why you stay for so long then huh" my husband and I said it been 15 mins that's not long, we want a refund the older man said no no refund, to give credit where it is dude there was a younger gentleman also working and he was very polite and kind and apologizing. He sent the older man to look at the room. And told us he would upgrade up to a suite or something, but we told him no thank you we do not feel comfortable staying here with our children it's disgusting, So he said he would do a refund but since we book with an app we would have to call them to do a cancellation. So I called the app we used, they called and talked to the hotel and the young man allowed the refund. Again he was extremely kind and very apologetic! But the older gentleman was so rude the room the motel is disgusting I don't know how it's open but please do not take your family there it's not safe and we literally went 50 ft down the road to the comfort inn paid the same price actually it was $4 more that the comfort inn and the rooms are gorgeous and clean they offer free breakfast and a free pool check out isn't till 11:00 so just save yourself the hassle and drive 50 ft down the road to the comfort inn

I just got here the man that checks you in has a VERY NASTY ATTITUDE maybe he shouldn’t be checking people in if he doesn’t have an ounce of hospitality told me from the jump to give him my id and wait to the side…. Then I called the office twice to let them know my tv or remote or both don’t work he walks away as soon as I approach the desk idk what’s going on but after TONIGHT I WONT BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER I get everybody having bad days shit I’m LIVING A NIGHTMARE but that’s NO EXCUSE for this ENERGY he’s giving as if I know him or we have an issue that only he knows about, I’m still here but will be updating as my night continues … Just got a call from another rude staff who told me he wasn’t being rude but he wasn’t even there when I checked in then told me they’re going to mark me so I don’t come back to this hotel and said I should basically be grateful for the other staff coming to do HIS JOB and fix the TV ??? If you find yourself needing a place to stay for a night or two I wholeheartedly would NOT RECOMMEND IT TO BE HERE seems ALL THE STAFF ARE RUDE HERE and expect to be treated like a blessing for doing they’re jobs correctly if you expect to be treated with respect I wouldn’t be coming here that’s all So they got on here to reply with a lie ?? I never cursed at anyone here at all I was nothing but respectful and for the owner to get on here and lie shows you what type of business they’re running he called me and basically cursed me out and called me a liar then when I called the company I booked with to try and get a refund and leave they sent an elderly couple over and the woman apologized and while I appreciate that it doesn’t change the fact that it says the owner who responded to this is doubled down and lied on me and even this morning someone disconnected the tv at 10:11 I don’t have to leave until 11 but like I said to run a motel and nobody except the lady have hospitality is sad this business won’t go far if they continue to treat people this way and LIE on customers is WAY too far but it’s okay I believe in god so what goes around comes around

The staff at the desk was unfriendly and was on the phone speaking the entire time in another language while i was checking in. We requested a nonsmoking room, and as we entered the room it gave off a strong aroma of wet ashtray and cigars. Upon further inspection of the room we noticed there were many other disturbing items that were disgusting. I.E. Rice on the ice bucket, urine on the bathroom floor, pubic hair in the tub and sink, mold on the ceiling, broken alarm clock, old and tattered towels, dirty pillows, sticky and smelly refrigerator, dirty finger prints on walls, the bed was hard and sunk in the middle with a paper thin blanket. We left the next morning feeling disgusting and smelling of smoke snd ashtray even after we showered. This was by far the worst hotel/motel we have ever visited of all time ever. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, ever! Keep your money and buy a tent. As a veteran i had had many of night in a hotel/motel, so i can speak from experience.
