This could have been a great stay but there were so many issues that made it a pretty disappointing stay.
The location is right off a highway and is usually pretty quiet but sometimes you will hear loud engines zoom by. I’d recommend asking for a room on the far side away from the highway.
I reached out to the hotel a couple days earlier before my arrival asking for a room on the opposite side of the highway in a quiet room. Was told I was all set and I will get a room on the far side away from the highway. Got the literal first room right next to the highway…
I asked to be moved and front desk was very helpful in changing my room. However, the room I got moved to did not have the bed sheets changed with hair on the sheets, it also had a couple crushed frozen bugs in the side of the freezer. I reached out to front desk and they changed the sheets promptly. I didn’t really care about the dead bugs too much so I just avoided that area.
During my stay, there was also a smoke alarm testing in the afternoon. I was caught completely by surprise, as were a couple of other guests in the adjacent rooms. It only went on for about half an hour but it would have been nice to be given a heads up before. Thankfully I didn’t have any meetings during that time.
The worst part of the stay was the promise of full housekeeping services without it actually being fulfilled. Although it states that you can request housekeeping earlier than a week, they will deny your request so I didn’t even bother asking before I stayed a full week. After a week there, expect the most minimum barebones house keeping. House keeping did not bother changing the sheets and when I asked the front desk if they could change the sheets, I was told that housekeeping does not change sheets and I would have to do it myself. Although I don’t consider myself an avid traveler, I’ve never stayed in a hotel where I had to change my own sheets.
But this hotel is not all bad, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the bathroom shower water pressure and temperature are great. The full kitchen with stove, dishwasher and cutlery is a plus. The lady working weekend shifts had an attitude for some reason and probably should not be in the hospitality industry but the gentleman working overnight shifts on weekends was very helpful and accommodating.
This would have been a great stay as I didn’t even care too much about everything else. If it isn’t that clean, it’s whatever, this isn’t a 4-5 star hotel. But not changing my sheets after staying there for a week is the literal bare minimum for me and that’s where I draw the line.
If you need a place that has a kitchen for you to cook, I’d say this would be a good place. But if you’re not looking to cook anything on your own then I would recommend finding a different...
Read moreI can't say I would recommend this hotel. I don't really have too many issues with hotel stays. We were staying for my friend's wedding. I only reserved the room for one night. I called weeks before I came to see if we could extend our stay for a few hours because the wedding wasn't til 4:30p. The representative told me that I had to wait til check-in to to confirm if i can extend my stay. I got there and was told by the front desk they don't extend stays on the weekend. He said they had plenty of rooms and people don't always check out right away. That didn't make sense because they seems like they could have accommodated for a few hours. So I understood that and had no argument. So my friend who was with me had a room for the next night. She even asked can she check in early. She was told she would they wouldn't let her check in early. They told her they would call her. They did send up calling her early. Smh. All we wanted was a few more hours of the room because we weren't close to home and we would be out with no room. We at least wanted to stay in my friend's room for a couple hours but they weren't trying to help there really. I say all that to say that if you have plenty of rooms avaliable as we were told, y,all can't accommodate at all.
Also, the front desk representative wasn't helpful at all. It was a black woman who I didn't get her name but she wasn't friendly or helpful to myself, my friend or my fiance and we all spoke to her at different times. (Just in case someone tries to go there, I am black myself. I just didn't think to get her name at the time. ) She didn't seem like she wanted to be there and shouldn't be in customer service at all. The one Ace we spoke with initially was nice when we asked all questions.
Lastly, the rooms weren't as big as the pictures make them seem. There perks in the room such a fill kitchen with supplies, Dove products, grill outside, ice make in the fridge, etc. Our stay wasn't the worst but they decibel aren't accommodating and they need to rethink some of the folks at...

LONG DESCRIPTION: Do yourself a favor and find another hotel in the area. There are many to choose from, and you'll have a better experience. There are some people who stay here with no issues, you will get frustrated at the lack of any type of assistance when trying to get things corrected.
First of all, some of the pictures on the site do not match what is actually available. So you may think you are reserving a room that you actually cannot reserve at all. If this happens, you are out of luck and there is no recourse. I get it. I travel more than a lot and these things happen. It's a new hotel (the pictures are still wrong by the way). The problem was complete lack of empathy and rude staff. It was mostly the manager. The front desk staff was very friendly. I was consistently told that someone would call me back to address the issue, but I never received a single call after about 5 or 6 tries. Finally the corporate office put me on hold and called the manager directly and connected me.
Even with the issue I tried again. This time I carefully read the description for each room and selected the one I wanted. When I arrived at the hotel, they switched room again and gave me an even smaller room that did not match the description at all. I ask the desk to move me to the room I had reserved and once again they said that I reserved the wrong room. I was told that I booked an accessible room so they switched me. I went back and looked at the description of the room I reserved and it made absolutely no mention of being an accessible room. So once again their website is displaying incorrect information on the room types. I asked to speak to someone and once again I was told I was going to get a call back from the manager. Well, it's been two weeks and no one has called. Time to go...
