Stay somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, the pool area & slide are great. The rest of the place is worse for wear. Waterpark aside, the hotel itself is about the same as a Super8 or Motel6.
The room...Everything is very standard & worn down. We had a 2 Queen Bed & Pull Out Couch room. The couch was VERY worn out with holes in it. The carpets throughout the room & rest of the hotel are very stained & worn. Throughout many parts of the room there's stains, stuff (gum) on the walls, knicks and chips. Our room hadn't seen much updating or maintenance in years it appeared. The bedding for the 2 Queens was mismatched & hodge podged together. None of the sheets matched. One Queen bed even had a throw type micro-plush blanket for the middle sheet? It was super weird & random. Also, none of our pillows were the same. Some square, some rectangle & all seemed different. We had to ask for bedding for the pullout couch for the kids. We were given 1 mattress sheet, 1 pillow & 1 very light medium weight blanket (with lots of holes in it) for 2 kids. The AC/Heat also kind of worked. Temperature wise it erred on the cool side, but what was more annoying was that the unit had a very annoying buzzing or something loose inside that randomly & constantly kicked on & off.
The bathroom...It was fine & functional, but there's 1 dinky hook for all the shower towels (which you can only really hang 1 on). After our kids had already taken a bath from being at the pool & I was about to take a shower our first night, & being a little suspect on some of the cleaning, I looked under the tub mat, wondering if they cleaned under that & with our kids just being in the tub. Appears not so much. Slimy orange underneath & hadn't been cleaned in a long time. If you're going to put those in the tubs, I'd think it'd be standard cleaning procedures to clean under them?
Breakfast/Food Area...Very very standard breakfast area & seating. Didn't appear as if anything had been updated in a while. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel where granola, bread, bagels, etc were all in individual Ziplock bags? It was very random & a little tacky. Food was fine. They had Belgian Waffles, sausage, eggs & biscuits & gravy. Pretty simple spread, but adequate.
The Pool/Waterpark...Our kids had a blast in the pool area. Again, parts of it don't seem like they've been cleaned or maintained well. Moldy, etc. But our 8 year old loved the pool & slide & our 4 year old liked the shallower play area. The towel situation was laughable. Apparently they only have 10-15 pool towels for the whole place because the 2 days we stayed & used the pool, there were absolutely no towels stocked. The first night we were there, they eventually brought in about 10-15 towels, which there was a mad dash for because the 40-50 other people using the pool area had the same issues. So when they brought in one small stack, they were gone in minutes. After dropping those off, the owner/worker proceeded around to all the chairs & tables asking people if they were done with the ones they had? It was blatantly obvious they must not stock or have enough. If a waterpark/pool is kind of the main thing you have going for your hotel, you'd think you'd prioritize pool towels. The last day we were there and the kids were swimming in the morning, the same owner came around to everyone individually & said they were immediately closing the pool/waterpark down for cleaning? He made it seem urgent? We figured someone pooped or puked or something, but weren't given any additional information. So there were a lot of disappointed people & kids when that happened.
I'm usually not this longwinded on reviews. But if I had read a recent review like this one, I was already on the fence enough booking this place that I probably would've stayed somewhere else. Definitely not worth the $170-$200 a night they're charging people for. Almost laughable charging that for how not great this place is. A $100-$120, maybe 2 star hotel at best. Strongly recommend staying somewhere else. Good pool/waterpark aside, we...

We used Choice Points to try to offset some of the expensive cost. All things considered, it feels like we wasted our points on a not so great hotel. Strongly recommend staying somewhere else. Read moreI wouldn't stay here or any hotel tied with choice hotel unless you want a random person coming in to your room could have cost people to lose loved ones. And never got a reimbursement of my money. I'll tell you my story on 8/17/25 at 730am my 14th month old baby started cry so my wife got up then I heard her say wrong room and slammed the door shut I jumped out of bed and ran to the door and saw the door open with a close hanger sticking through the door trying to get my door stop closed I open the door and it was the laundry man try to let a old man. I asked what are you doing you walk my kid up you don't check to make sure you have the right room on the computer first before you start opening doors. I went to the front to talk to a manager he wasn't they're talk to the front desk guy and he just made up excuses and wouldn't take falt for it. Another guy come in and I ask are you the manager he said no but can I help I told him what happened he was just saying excuse after excuse they even blamed the old man saying he told them he was in that room but he was forgetful. ((its his falt we didn't do out jobs and check the computer. They didn't but you know how stupid this all sounds)) spent all day Sunday and half day on Monday trying to get a manager on the phone finaly talk to him and he did the same thing but he even tried churning it around and my and saying i did stuff that was against their policy. I told him your the one that let us check in a hour early and get in the pool with i was grateful about them doing it for. I told him I'm sick of your excuses just refund my money he said he would and only gave me $64 back after spending $500 on two rooms. And now I can't get hold of a manager again. I would give them a rating of zero stars if I could after the 3 days of this crap. The think that makes be more mad then anything the old man could have got shot for no reason. Or they could have just let a person in that...
