My fiance and I went to Hobby Lobby a month ago to purchase items for our wedding in December! We got almost everything we needed for our total group setting but were short 11 items to complete our table setup with plates for our guests. We were informed we could special order these missing items that were not in stock in the store and we would have them by the next week. The lady took our information down and placed the order for us. Fast forward two weeks and we get called it is in, we arrive to pick our items up to find our only 2 of the 11 items were here. We were told we need to come back in a week to see if the rest of the order arrived. We informed the manager that this wouldnât work as we need them for our wedding that is taking place in less than a week and were told they would be here by now! We called another store to see if they had inventory and were greeted by a nice gentleman in Rapid City that informed us we would never see our special order as itâs a discontinued item and the Bismarck store shouldâve checked this the night we ordered and saved us a headache. Now we have to drive two hours out of our way before the wedding to grab the last 9 things that Rapid City just so happened to have left in stock. Very disappointed in management at Bismarck location for not informing us the set we were ordering isnât in stock at the warehouse and canât be ordered. We wouldâve just gone with a different set and saved us a few weeks worth of headaches and scrambling to get a matching plate ware set for...
Read moreEven being new to crafting I Always supported going to hobby lobby because they were helpful and have good prices but after getting attitude and a snotty look from an employee who closed her lane after I was in her line I will never be back. I was already in the back talking to the ladies in the fabric area with the rope before I went to purchase the rope and they made no mention in the back that I had to get a slip for the rope and when I went to purchase the rope the check out girl just stared at me with a look like she was discussed by me and said nothing until I told her I took the whole rope from the box and it .56/ yard so with no cutting is there a preprice and she with a very snotty voice called over someone that was much more pleasant. I get wanting to get off work but when it's your job to help others at least do it with a smile and say something like I'll check on that for you. I have worked retail for 21 years and when someone comes in and doesn't know what there doing that's what we are there for is to help them and I take pride in staying as long as it takes to make sure there services are met even sometimes being hours after scheduled. I left without purchasing anything and decided at that moment to never return because I don't believe she should treat...
Read morePut me on hold for 25 WHOLE MINUTES. when people call looking for an item itâs because they wanna make sure you have it before they drive over there and waste their time, but NO, your low-IQ workers canât figure out how to find a simple craft item that you should have. Thanks for nothing, your male worker who sounds like English is his second language needs to be taught what you sell so this isnât repeated. The worst customer service Iâve ever experienced in my whole entire life.
FOUR people asked me if I was being helped, I said I was, and that I was waiting. NONE of you know anything about whatâs going on. Talk to your workers, ask them where stuff is so this doesnât happen again.
Must be hiring absolute dead eyed pea brains for workers. None of them knows how to talk to each other.
âHas this person been helped?â
âYes, Iâm trying to find the -item-â
âLet me helpâ
ITS NOT THAT HARD TO DO THAT. Youâre adults, how do you have no...
