TERRIBLE experience at this place. I wish I could give it 0 stars. I took my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding as well as my wedding dress to this place. Went to go pick up my bridesmaid dress on the date she told me to pick it up, and she HAD NOT EVEN STARTED. My sisters wedding was in 4 days. So, I had to pick it up the next morning and it was not well done. She made the hem too short even though I had my heels on when she measured it, made the back too tight and sewed it in a way that made the front bunch up. She also told me "not to eat much" for the next few days since the dress was tight ( I am 5'4" and 118 lbs, most people tell me I am too thin). I panicked so much that I went back a couple hours later for my wedding dress since she had not touched it yet (I was supposed to pick it up the following week). She also told me I needed spanx for my wedding dress so I "wouldn't look so lumpy". Just what a bride wants to hear!

Honestly, I think her work might be decent if she did not do it last minute. She rushes through things and then they turn out terrible. Other customers came in when I was trying on my dress for their orders and she did not have them ready or had not started. If you want your items done in a timely manner and done well, do not go here. Way too risky.

The owner commented that I was risky to work with, however she is the one who did not remember what she was supposed to do with my dress, therefore I was nervous, especially after she altered my bridesmaids dress wrong. Also, like any bride, of course I wanted my mother's opinion regarding my wedding dress. I brought a dress here for my step-sons wedding that was far too long, and large around the bust. Lilya was SOO kind when I tried the dress on and took into consideration my input for the alterations I wanted done. She paid attention to all the details! Then I realized I had forgotten to ask her to craft a slit into the dress, I call her and she was so kind and said "yes hunny, come in we will add it" I know I was a pain in her butt.i picked up my dress yesterday and it was PERFECT! it fit like a glove and you can not even see where she made the alterations to the dress! My experience started with the owner taking king size shams for my new bedspread and turning them into queen size. She made a pillow with the extra fabric just because. Next experience was to hem an evening gown and to take an evening gown I could no longer wear because I couldn't zip it and fix it somehow. She is extremely creative and took out the zipper, used extra fabric from the gown and did a corset lace where the zipper once was. Incredible. I just love it!!
