It's pretty sad when I checked prices at the hotel compared to what is advertised on 3rd party reservations and the hotel is NOT willing to match the price. Apparently when booking 3rd party, what is offered on a 3rd party is not required as a standard at the hotel. When the reservation was booked, it was booked because it was stated that there was a fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, and all the other amenities of a king suite. Once we checked in and went to the room, the fireplace didn't work, the Jacuzzi tub doesn't drain properly, the room itself smelled of smoke like the last person that stayed there had smoked in it, there were 2 tears in the carpet, common areas that should have been properly cleaned and dusted were filthy, smudges on the coffee table, mini fridge, spots in the shower, glass not properly cleaned, heater/AC unit not cleaned and others if rather not mention. As soon as we discovered issues with the room we informed front desk. Front desk said they would pass along the message. As more things arose, I brought it to the front desks attention. Instead of coming up to look at things, we were told that they would have maintenance check things out after we checked out. It's sad when people have the mindset to pass the buck onto someone else but it's a nice scapegoat when a person can use the excuse that there's nothing they can do because the reservation was made online. Well if that is the case, maybe they shouldn't be in business or the entire crew needs to be...
Read moreOver all a great place. We were in North Dakota to help my nephew lay our sister to rest and support. Tnis was an emotional time . We were not there on vacation or to tour. We would meet in the lobby to socialize and have dinner together. All of the staff was exceptional, minus the Manager Carlene she was very rude and unfriendly. My nephew had his emotional support dog that is registered as such. Carlene had the staff call our room and ask us to clean up the dog drippings outside the back door. Right away I myself jumped up to go do tnis walking around the hole building. There were no dog droppings from his dog as he had already came In asked for A bag when it was left and picked it up right away. She really should not be the manager definitely not friendly and rude. Would highly recommend unless she is still managing. Attitude...
Read moreFirst of all, I am Wyndham Rewards member and while walking to the pool with my husband who just stated he was thirsty and wondered where we could get bottled water, we passed the front desk. There was no one at the front desk but there was a Wyndham guest paper bag with a small water in it. It was just sitting out. So I grabbed it and was going to hand it to my husband. When someone came from the back and start yelling at me. She accused me of “stealing” which was shocking as other hotel chains level similar bags out for guests and I have seen this more frequently since COVID19. She demanded I give the bag back so I did. I was insulted and Am obviously Native so I thought this was just another act of discrimination. The little bag carried probably less than $3.00 worth of anything and yet I was accused of stealing. Never...
