Our first few minutes into our hotel experience while were were checking into the hotel we watched the guest in front of us be humiliated by the hotel manager. He berated her in front of us while trying to simultaneously check us in, which in turn had him authorize our card for her stay as he was distracted. As a person who has been in the industry for many years this could have been handled privately to avoid looking unprofessional in our very first interaction. ||||Secondly I did not see one security/house person all weekend. The front desk staff seemed to work all day and night with little to no support staff. If your hotel is booked up the entire weekend with many hockey teams/wrestling teams you would think they would equipped to handle this. ||||Breakfast both mornings was not properly stocked, coffee ran dry within the first few minutes and was not stocked back up, was also cold. Hot items very limited. Although staff was nice and friendly and tried their best.||||Upon travel back home we find our card has been charged for damages to the hotel common areas which was never told to us upon check out. We check our invoice only to notice we now have another guests who was staying at hotel not even our own bill, as we were in a hurry to leave and didn't check until we arrived home.||||If damage is done to common areas how do you know it was our team? Do you have it on camera? Did a staff member see a child and know what room they belong to? We were charged for a broken door we never broke, told we partying all night when we had a curfew nightly at 10pm. WE DO NOT PARTY. In my opinion this is a very sneaky way to do business. Wait till everyone leaves then charge all their cards and then refuse to let them speak with the manager who authorized these "charges". If you can put the charges on the cards have the decency to at least pick up the phone and tell us how you can justify this. TELL US IN PERSON before we leave the hotel and we can talk about it. We will continue to reach out until we finally can speak to the manager who is avoiding our calls. It is your job as the representative of the hotel to deal with all the good and bad that comes along...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of staying at this so-called "hotel," and it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I had made a terrible mistake.
Filthy and Dated Rooms: The room I was given looked like it hadn't seen a renovation in decades. The carpet was stained and smelled musty, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and the furniture was falling apart. It was clear that no effort had been made to maintain the rooms.
Unpleasant Odors: The moment I entered my room, I was greeted by a nauseating stench. It was a combination of old cigarette smoke and mold, making it nearly impossible to breathe comfortably. I had to keep the window open throughout my stay just to try and air out the room.
Rude and Unhelpful Staff: The staff at this hotel were a complete disappointment. They seemed disinterested in helping guests and were downright rude when I asked for assistance with basic requests. It felt like they were doing me a favor by allowing me to stay there.
Noisy and Uncomfortable: The noise level in the hotel was unbearable. I could hear every conversation and movement from the adjacent rooms, and there seemed to be no effort to enforce quiet hours. Sleep was a distant dream during my stay.
Disgusting Bathroom: The bathroom was a horror show. The tiles were cracked and dirty, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the showerhead sprayed water in all directions except where it should. I dreaded having to use it.
Overpriced for What You Get: Considering the deplorable condition of the hotel, the rates were exorbitant. I felt like I was being robbed, paying so much for such a subpar experience.
In conclusion, this hotel is an absolute disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. It's a shame that places like this can still operate in this day and age. Save yourself the agony and find a different place to stay. You'll...
Read moreWe had prebooked a suite online and when we showed up at 3:00 to check-in, the front desk said the room wasn't ready. The front desk person who said he was the manager, started that it wouldn't be ready for at least a half hour. We said we thought the check in time was 3 pm, he said it is but there aren't any rooms available. We told him that we don't have time to wait because we had a wedding to be at that starts at 4:00 and we need somewhere to get ready and asked if there was anywhere we could get ready in and then just check into the suite later on. The manager said no. He then said that he had a 2 queen bed room that was available but he couldn't give us the price of the queen room, we had to still pay the Suite rate since we booked online. Why the hell would we have to pay the rate of a of a Suite when we're staying in a smaller room? Especially since it was the hotel's fault?!! The "manager" then didn't like that he was being questioned about it and then said that we had to go find a different hotel to stay at and that he wasn't going to allow us to stay there. My wife asked if he was going to refund our money then and he said yes but I'm not confident that he will. At the wedding reception we heard there was another lady that got kicked out for a similar situation. This manager is the rudest I've ever experienced and doesn't seem qualified to manage a lemonade stand. If he's such an A-hole to paying customers, I can only imagine how he treats employees. I guess maybe that's why the rooms aren't ready by the 3:00 check-in time, he can't keep staff. I definitely, do not recommend this hotel and if our money isn't refunded I'll be reporting it to the North Dakota Attorney General and Better...
