It's so exciting to have an escape room in Bismarck again. We attended opening night of Saving History and had a blast. I went with 4 other people who had never done an escape room before, and we were able to escape with only 5 minutes to spare. The room was a perfect blend of challenging puzzles that made you think hard, but not too difficult that the new people were lost or frustrated. The clues were clear, achievable and exciting to solve. There was a lot to do, so each person got plenty of involvement. The local ND theme was unique and made it more personal. I have done about 15 escape rooms across 4 states, so I have seen quite a few different styles. This room was a great medium difficultly to bring any group to no matter the experience level. I love the traditional style with hands on locks/ keys and puzzle clues. I appreciated that there were no red herrings, I hate when rooms have those. The game master Chip was very friendly and made the experience fun. I highly recommend this escape room to anyone looking for a super fun 60 minutes! This would be great for teens, families or team building groups like church groups, coworkers or a night out with friends. Go check it out!! I can hardly wait for their next room to open soon!

Update: I just did their 2nd room Treasure Hunters, and it was probably better than their first room, which I also loved. This room had difficult aspects, but again very fun and achievable puzzles. I had a terrible experience trying to book an escape room here. I went to their website to check available time slots, and all I saw were options listed as "sold out" or "Text to book." The phone number under the "Text to book" section was the same number listed for the business, so I decided to call directly to inquire about booking a time slot for later in the day.

When I called, I was informed that the time slots listed as "Text to book" were actually unavailable because they didn’t have enough staff to cover those slots. This made no sense—why were these times still showing as available on the website if they weren’t actually bookable? If those time slots had been labeled correctly, I wouldn’t have wasted my time getting a group of friends together to try and book a spot.

Additionally, if the business doesn’t want or offer same-day bookings, today's date should not even show up as an option on the website. It's misleading and caused...
