Having to be in Blytheville for a funeral we had booked a smoking room in a hurry then left Cleveland to come there. We opted for the pay when you arrive. Well you took the money out of my friends account before we even arrived. She seen it on her phone!! If you were going to do that or even by doing it by 3rd party you could have called her to tell her you'd have to do that. Then we get there an no smoking room available. Guess you did not know the "re modeled" room had no smoking. Or was there never any available? You called to tell us that when we were half way there after driving 8 hours. Shame on you. Had I known you were going to take the full amount of our bill out of her account I would have brought more cash with me. I was going to help her. I was paying for one night and so was she. So doing the right thing, I gave my friend $100.00 in the cash I did have to help cover the costs. Which in turn shorted me! Oh but we will give you an up graded room. (room #107) Ya right! Thats an upgrade?? It had comfortable beds yes! But the refrigerator barely kept food cold. The shower dripped puddles of water all over the bathroom floor. (used more towels to upsorb the water than we actually used on our bodys!! Could not even figure out the 2 huge TV remotes. So many buttons. And I dont go barefoot in strange places so I wore socks in the room. (all 3 of us did) Our socks were so dirty as though we walked outside for hours in the parking lot! Disgusting! The breakfast......not great, the eggs were swimming in water! By the way the camping people in the trailers next to the parking lot was a site to behold! They were grilling and drinking all night. Woke up to load the car with their mess all over. Even left their food all over picnic tables. Trash everywhere. Parking lot had beer bottles an trash all over it. YUK! Anyway I will not be back I have no reason to ever be there again, but I think other travelers need to know what they are getting into. This was all on March 22nd,...

This hotel is older, having exterior entrances. It has an RV park next door, though I don't know if that's part of the hotel.

Front desk was friendly enough. But recommended a restaurant that multiple locals I ran into said to avoid.

Room was... not good, to say the least.

On the upside, the bed was comfy and sheets were clean. No bugs. Water pressure was good. And WiFi was decent.

On the downside, there were dead bug smears on the walls that housekeeping didn't bother cleaning. The shower tile was cracking and poorly repaired. The tub ceramic coating was worn. The towel rack was rusting. The bathroom door hinges were barely holding the door up. The walls had awful drywall repairs. The A/C was old. The entry wall was extruded aluminum tubing and seemed thin. Entry light had a burnt out bulb (1 out of 2). The sink area drywall had popcorn ceiling spray instead of using the correct texture for a repair. TV had SD standard channels. Water temp fluctuated, and the sink only had HOT water, no cold at all. Dead bugs on the carpet suggest some areas never get vacuumed. Stains on the couch and ottoman. TP holders were strangely pushed into the wall. The coat hook behind the bathroom door was missing, ripped out of the door. Fixture plates, doors, and hinges were painted over. Artwork on the walls had seen better days. The night stand had bad water damage and the notepad has obviously been soaked and not replaced. And my duvet had a cigarette burn.

I think that covers all of it... I told the front desk that room needed a deep cleaning at the very least. But based on how that room was kept up, I highly doubt any other rooms are better.

Recommendation: if you're paying through and only want a bed, fine... If you want to feel at all comfortable and not grimy,...

Staff was excellent and breakfast was top notch also but the rooms are HUD Housing level. Do not bring your family here. Pictures are wrong, there is NO pool. The hotel has been split and half is now a "Americas Best Value Inn". Shower is dirty. Fixtures falling off the wall and rusted. Showered head broke and stuck on 1 setting. TV is factory seconds with shadows and channel 3 converted analog box makes it ghosted and fuzzy picture. Room was dusty and had overbearing strong smell of strawberry incense to mask some kind of odors. Door lock had no strike plate and dead bolt just stuck into a cut out notch in the metal frame. The stairs to get to the room was rusted out and bottom rung replaced with cement blocks. However, Everything in the room worked. TV, Refrigerator, microwave, alarm clock, heat and air conditioning all functioned. Bed was clean and comfortable and no bugs were seen. So staff is doing what they can with a deteriorating building. This is a good stay for a trucker wanting a good bed and breakfast but there are much better hotels for $60. This is a...

This is a very cheap place to sleep if on a road trip… the room smelled HEAVY of some kind of perfume scent, probably to cover up any smoke smell mentioned by others. Bathroom was disgusting. Outlets were hanging OUT of the wall, making me too nervous to try to plug anything in to it or turn the lamp on.. seems like a MAJOR safety hazard!! Beds are quite small, big enough for one adult or 2 kids. Also, be mindful that there are a few fast food restaurants nearby BUT due to the placement of hotel/restaurants, you have to get on the highway and drive 10-15 mins out of your way even though you can see them from the hotel. Again, good price if you literally just need a place to sleep before getting back on the road.
