Grecian Steak House — Restaurant in Blytheville

I ordered a medium well steak. I was brought a well-done steak. I cut it in the center and said there is no pink. I showed it to the server. She took it back. They brought it back 3 times the same steak. The female manager came with it, and I told her I ordered medium well with pink and there is no pink. She came back with the steak again and said well this is how we make medium well. I said it's not it's well done. She said you can order something else but have to pay for the sides that came with the meal and you can't order the 1lb steak. I was so not happy about any of it. I ordered another steak, and she said we would "Try" medium. I said try okay. I got that one, and it was slightly pink.

They could have had others to help the server she was trying her best. Other people food was cold because they waited until a few meals were made before bring6out the food. They didn't give the food they put it on a table before giving it to the person. Many people from there told me to go to the other steak house. However, they were closed.

The drinks were great here and the appetizers. Oh for those that don't know what a medium well steak is - A medium well steak is cooked until it has an internal temperature of 140–155°F, and has a gray-brown color with a slight pink hue in the center.

Visiting from TEXAS and this was the worst steak I have ever had!!! The steak had no seasoning. The waiter informed me that the steaks come PRE-SEASONED!! Then offered to put the steak I had eaten back on the grill and add additional seasoning! For one that’s cross contamination! The waitress wasn’t knowledgeable about the food being served. I asked if I could have sautéed mushrooms and onions. Apparently, this was too hard to comprehend for her. She went to refill my tea and never came back! I also asked if I could have grilled shrimp. I was told they only have precooked shrimp that’s fried. The atmosphere is very old with a sheet up over a wall. I wouldn’t take my mother or a family member here if I wanted a good steak experience. The manger didn’t bother having customer service about the food. She stated I had to pay for the salad and tea. In my opinion that should have been complimentary! Then they charge a $1 for a half filled cup of salad dressing. I will not return and hope this review help someone from out of town find a better place to eat! Apparently, locals like this place which it’s basically all that’s around unless your driving 45 minutes more to Texas Roadhouse or Memphis. If I could leave zero stars I would, but I have to give at least one. In all fairness, the food was good so I suppose it's worth one star for that. They offer 1 trip to the salad bar with the purchase of a plate meal. But, because of that, the only to-go box they will give you is a 4-inch square styrofoam box, the size you would put a slice of pie or something similar in. I went round and round with the manager over this. His reasoning behind the policy was that people would fill up on the salad bar and then take their meal home so they would be getting two meals for the price of one. Are you kidding me right now??? So, don't offer the salad bar without an up-charge if you're that damn stingy. I offered to pay for the box and at first he said no and then relented and walked away. When I got to the register, he had told the cashier to charge me $5 for the box!!! I threw a fit and he ended up taking the charge for the box off the tab. I will NEVER enter that establishment again. If you can't eat an entire restaurant meal, I would suggest going somewhere else to eat rather than the Grecian Steak House in...
