The two managers, one night and one morning, really made great service. My daughter, best friend and I were on a cross country hunting trip. We stopped when the big rainstorm with tornadoes came though but nothing could dampen these ladies spirits, Tara & Monica. What really touched me was this incident as I was leaving: They had no dairy creamer and hot quality coffee available gratis! I went to fill my travel cup with coffee and spilled some. I mean, big enough mess that I wouldn't have been able to get with napkins. I told Monica* who was behind the desk. I asked that if she got me a rag I would clean it up. She got a cloth, but then did something that really stood out in ANY industry. She said, "your job as a guest is to relax, I'll get it." And she said it with sincere charity. Grace. Not making me even feel bad for my mistake or the work it caused her. She matched my embarrassment with her kindness, and won. IDK what she is being paid but that kind of service to customers cannot be undervalued. Someone at #holidayinnexpress give her a promotion & a raise! (Monica? I believe that was her name; Cheerful 5'9" black female working morning shift)

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Travis was very friendly and helpful when I called for the reservation. He worked to get two rooms close together despite a convention taking most the rooms. The facility looked well maintained, although some needed repairs are evident in the pool/spa area. Kids had a great time in the heated indoor pool. Complimentary breakfast at the connected Perkins is a huge perk for this stay! I would stay here again if I pass through this way again!!

I recommend avoiding this place, especially if you have pets. My "pet friendly" room was gross, the floor was sticky and you can see the grime on the floor in the attached video. Front desk workers were nice but management consistently ignored me when I reached out about the poor room conditions

I stayed three nights. Breakfast is the attached Perkins Pancake House which normally isn’t that bad. The food voucher from the hotel though gives you two eggs, a list of sausages, ham and a potato variety. I eat carefully which is not the Arkansas way, so there was nothing in column two or three of any interest and the over-easy eggs were only a notch thicker than water. I never went back for my remaining breakfasts. We booked 2 queen beds and were given 2 sets of towels. At 11 after the 1st night, I realized I might not get any housekeeping and asked for towels from a housekeeper I found who said she’d tell the appropriate person. That hadn’t happened by 1pm, so on my way out, I went to the front desk and asked for towels again (and toilet paper). I believe it was Porsha (not Porsche) at the front desk, who appeared to really care less. She offered me a roll of toilet paper on the spot but I wasn’t going back to my room, so again I suggested to have it and towels sent up. No one ever went into my room all day.As I left the room after the second night there happened to be a housekeeper next to my door and I asked again if I could at least get towels. She said I was supposed to get towels every day and doesn’t know what happened the day before, but unfortunately, she did not have any towels to give me and would have to pass a message along. I walked through the lobby at about 11am and asked again at the front desk. Again, it was Porsha, and again I don’t feel she took me seriously. Another woman overheard this (it appears she was a shift manager) who was very apologetic and swore she would get me towels. Nothing by 4pm. *. 4th request in 2 days. As I went out for dinner, I asked again, and again told it would be taken care of. I was apprehensive with the sting of previous promises not upheld, and another woman at the desk, rather saltily said she would take of it. Apparently she did! Too bad I never got trash emptied in 3 days, old towels not removed and the last few squares of tp weren’t replenished from the 1/3 rolls provided. Even the Kleenex was empty, using maybe 5.Same pool towels and trash laying by the pools for 2 full days. There was a towel wadded by the outdoor pool gate, and it also didn’t move for 2 days. The restaurant/bar...

This was far and away the worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. First, the rooms, which we had a total of six, were all filthy. My specific room had black dust and mold on the ceiling coming from a vent, had red and black mold surrounding the tub that didn’t have a drain stopper, there was a massive stain in the carpet, the walls were all scuffed up, dirty, and in two places had holes in them. Further the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. The room which had two queen beds and for which was booked for two people had only one towel and when we asked for more we were told they didn’t have any. We also noticed a mildew smell throughout the room and a general dampness to most soft surfaces. Second was our experience at their partner restaurant, Perkins. We chose to eat dinner there since it is advertised all over the hotels website that kids eat free Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were of course told that we were incorrect by both the staff at Perkins and the manager at the hotel even after showing them their website and reading the fine print to them. Then, beware! The restaurant will not give you a bill to pay from but instead ask you to pay at the front counter. There they will still not show you the breakdown of your meal which is where, I believe, their little scam comes in. We asked if tipping for our group was included to which we were assured it wasn’t. We added our 20% and went back to our table. The other half of our group demanded to see their bill before paying and wouldn’t you know…they add 18% gratuity for tips. When we confronted the staff about this situation they claimed they had no idea, but also didn’t offer to give us any of the money back. Avoid this hotel at all costs, but if you absolutely have to stay here are to bring sandals to wear in the room and shower. Don’t trust anyone who...

Our son got married on this weekend. This had been my third stay at the hotel. On the first trip I went to see hotel and area and speak to someone regarding our stay. I was told they could accommodate us without issue.

On the 2nd trip I went for the bridal shower and stayed and again spoke with employees at the desk to review the upcoming wedding and reserve a block of rooms for out of town guest. I again was assured we would all be in block of rooms.

On the wedding weekend I arrived on Tuesday ahead of the Saturday wedding. Upon entering my room the refrigerator had defrosted and water was covering floor. I called and reported to desk and was brought towels to clean it up. After driving all night I was tired and had worked on the wedding prior to getting into my room but went ahead and moped it up. The next day I left to do more wedding details to return and the room had not been cleaned. To make this long story short. My room was not located next to the block of other rooms - I was moved to new room and moved 2 carts of clothes, etc into the new room. The night of the wedding we returned to room at midnight and our room had not been cleaned so called the desk and my husband had to go get towels at desk. Without checking towels since we were tired, we went to bed since we had to be up early to catch our flight in Memphis. The "towels" we were given were bathmats. Needless to say, we used them since housekeeping wasn't available as early as we needed to leave for flight. For the amount of money, we spent on rooms for the weekend I am very upset. Also - workers stay in this hotel that are working at a steel plant. They get up early and are extremely noisey. I called the hotel on our way home to speak to someone regarding the towel - stay issues. Operator could not help me so I left my number and asked for a return call. 2 days later and no...
