I enjoyed being served by the staff while there, however they made a serious error after we left. We clearly stated that we had a certain amount of money saved and additionally were willing to borrow a particular amount. We signed a credit request checking that it was the amount we were willing to borrow. We were approved for that amount. We went home to sleep on the decision- at that point we were happy and pretty confident we would purchase. About an hour after we left the saleswoman called to say "Good news! I got your credit line increased by $(TRIPLE what we requested)!" That was NOT good news. Despite carefully explaining our budget and limitations they took it upon themselves to TRIPLE the credit request. We were sick with anxiety. I suffer from esophageal disease and severe lower lumbar stenosis. I went into Sleep Number knowing that I needed to purchase an adjustable bed. I had one of the best sales experiences I've had in quite some time. There is no pressure here!. I felt confident that my purchase would change my life. 6 weeks for delivery but in today's market that's pretty reasonable to expect a little time. Salesman processed a loan without us even saying we wanted to purchase the mattress. I just wanted to prequalify. Didn’t find this out until he asked me to sign the paperwork. His communication during this process was not great. Financing company has been nothing but problems. The mattress is nice(as it should be for the cost)and the delivery process was done well.
