Bozeman Breakout: Escape Room — Attraction in Bozeman

My boyfriend and I did this for his birthday. I know doing it with you people is not easy and it was definitely very difficult for us but that was expected. The place is very difficult to find. We walked in and the guy just talk to us about music for about 10 minutes before we got to go in and he did not have the room ready for us upon arrival even though we were there five minutes before as it says to do in the reservation. We needed all of our hands which is fine and did not figure very much of the puzzles out. When our time ran out we asked if you go through it with us and he refused to go through it with us because we were not halfway done. Finding out all the mysteries is part of the fun and I don’t understand why we couldn’t know what we were missing. Once we were out of the room he did not say anything other else to us and was trying to quickly reset the room for the next people when this wouldn’t have been an issue if he didn’t waste our time our arrival time. This was by far one of the worst Escape rooms I’ve ever done I do not recommend it it was very unorganized and did not have very good clues. I had a 4/5 star experience the first time I did it and the staff was great, and they gave us a good explanation after we finished. But, the second time we went it, we were supposed to pay $88 because we were all under 17, but we paid $100. The staff were not very clear and did not explain that there was another room to investigate as well. One really important key to unlock the second door was missing and the staff had to come unlock the door for us. There was also a lack of fun/interesting puzzles. When we got done, we did not get any photos with the props and the staff did not show us how to finish the escape room correctly. We had a blast doing the Heist room! The puzzle was well put together and just the right combination of not too easy and not too hard. This was our first time doing a break out room and the beginning instructions were very vague and difficult to follow. We were also disappointed a couple different times when we were asking for a hint and we had to wait quite awhile until the person working was back at their desk. The end felt really brief and anticlimactic. He very quickly went over what we were missing in the last clue we had gotten stuck on, but was very short and awkward and didn't do any of the ending photos with props that we expected.
