The food is excellent and at a fantastic price point. For $9 I could get a fast food combo elsewhere and gamble on quality, where at Brewsker's I can get a good lunch for $10 as of this writing.
The hot chop is my go-to. If you like spicy, and grew up on Pork Chop John's, give it a go. I suppose it's only natural for them to carry the PCJ patties given that many years ago that very same spot was that company's Bozeman location to save you a drive to Butte.
Split reuben fries with a friend and a beer. The phillies are good. The burgers are good. The fries have a perfect crisp that even a purist will admit isn't found on fresh-made fries.
Do understand that it's an entirely separate business from the Hideaway. Brewsker's is just the kitchen; for dine-in you're going to have to leave the kids at home. In the bar area, they'll will bring you your chow counter service and the bartender can take care of your beer and cocktail needs in a separate transaction. Point is, complaints about the bathrooms should be (rightly) directed elsewhere.
When I call it in, their time estimates are on point—typically, expect "10-15 minutes." If they're slammed and it'll take more than a hot minute they'll be honest about that up front. Think of it as a good thing because once you try it, if you're anything like me you'll be glad they're getting business to keep open for you next time and the next.

Read moreRUDEST COOK EVER. It saddens me to have to update my reviews from 5 stars to now 1. I've always enjoyed the food and since the new rendition I pained through their struggles but I won't any longer.
Today I was told to take my business elsewhere! Shocked as I was, I will from now on.
I had called as soon as the restaurant opened because I had the largest, unplanned take-out order ever. I understood if they weren't able to take the order but the young lady on the phone reassured me it was okay because it was a slower day during the week.
An hour later when I went to pick up the order, the cook proceeded to yell me how they'd prefer for me to call such orders the day before. Thinking he was joking, I agreed how I would like to as well. The young lady who took my call tried being polite and told the cook how I had called and asked first. The cook proceeded to scold me on how this TWO HUNDRED PLUS DOLLAR order was putting him behind with other lunch orders.
I keep a stack of menus at my desk for when we need to order in. I'll make sure to remove this restaurant as a choice. Too much business isn't desired here. I'll make sure to take my small choices...
Read moreThis is 100% my favorite establishment for food and a couple beers in town. The food is the best bar food I’ve ever had, I’ve not ordered a single thing off the menu I wasn’t impressed with and I’ve eaten almost everything on the menu atleast once. I was worried by the recent change of ownership but the food has somehow gotten even better since. A few local stories I’ve heard about the change of hands leads me to believe it’s the same crew making the food but are now much more interested in their work. As well as the quality of the food the prices are very very reasonable and the house made sauces are just the cherry on the top. Bar has cheap drinks, great service, cute waitresses and a great vibe. What’s...
