Though it is fun and nice to paint your own art piece, and the prices for each piece are what you could get anywhere else, the management and handling of your personal art piece is the worst possible there could ever be. You will spent and hour to two hours or more painting your piece (charged per hour, sometimes even more depending on the paint you use, as well as for your piece) for them to potentially never, EVER, give you your piece when it is done. It takes 1 week for them to do anything with your piece for it to be ready to be picked up, but if someone walks in and likes your piece, and they claim that they're there to pick it up for you, they'll just give it away. We spent $60 bucks in there last week for a birthday, returned this week to pick it up and it turns out that they handed out what we painted because "someone" claimed they were picking up our bowls for us. Either they handed out bowls to someone random (As they WILL NOT check if you painted them, they do not check phone #'s or receipts) or they will take them home themselves. Overall, their quality has gone down in the past 4 years (been going here for 10 years) and now they WILL give you your piece to the next John through the door. 50/50 chance on you ever seeing your art again, and good luck...

You can pick one and choose a place to sit. Once you and all of you're friends, kids, or other family members, or just you if you are going solo have done that one of the workers will come and tell the rules and tips for painting your piece. I went on Friday not long after opening and there was one other group there. As it got later it got busier. It took a few hours to finish up, but this may very between people depending on how quickly you paint and how intricate you're design is. Once you are done you will leave your artwork there for about a week before you can pick it up (it has to be fired in the kiln). At the end you will pay for the piece you chose and an additional $5. I had lots of fun and would definitely recommend going if you have the extra time. A great place for any...
