Let me start by saying this was our first stay since the remodel and since the hurricanes of 2024. Being Florida residents, this is our favorite beach and hotel. The staff is fabulous and we like the extra perks, like beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and being able to walk to restaurants and entertainment. That being said, there were a few issues with our room we did not have during any of our previous stays. We normally stay in the Royal Palm building and this was our first stay in the queen palm. Our "new" fridge seemed to be broken as it never got cold, the room temp control would not let us set it lower than 70 so we could sleep at night, the new kitchen furniture felt like outdoor furniture and wasn't very comfortable, there was no side tables or lights by the bed so you had to get out of bed to turn the lights on or off. To be fair, we never complained to the staff as nothing was so bad we needed extra attention, just different from our prior experiences and the feel of the hotel we fell in love with when we visited in the past. I am hoping the remodel is not quite done yet and maybe they are still making a...
Read moreLet me start by first saying my husband and I have stayed numerous times at Silver Surf Gulf Resort, the other property owned by the same company that owns Bridgewalk, and it was wonderful. However, I have to say that now having 2 little ones, Bridgewalk is absolutely exceptional for our family needs. We stayed at one of the apartments, and it was lovely, directly across the street from the beach, EXTREMELY insulated. I couldn't hear our neighbors downstairs at all and as soon as you close the sliding glass doors, almost all outside noise is gone (which is great for a napping baby). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our socially distant nights on the front screened-in lanai/balcony, having a drink and listening to the live bands that play next door every night (only until 10 so perfect for us!). Also, the management team is so extremely helpful and the staff is very kind and accommodating. Megan and Angela, thank you! I can not wait for another winter storm to come so we can be stuck at Bridegwalk Resort again ;)...
Read moreAbsolutely loved my weekend stay at Bridgewalk Resort! It’s perfectly located in the heart of Bradenton Beach — I parked once in the hotel lot and walked everywhere: the beach, restaurants, shops, and even the pier.
I stayed in the Royal Palm Suite, which was spacious, spotless, and recently renovated. The decor is modern, beachy, and clean, all within a charming landmark hotel. The spa tub in the bathroom was perfect for unwinding after a sunny day out.
The resort provides complimentary beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, which made it super easy to spend the day by the Gulf. On-site, there’s a rooftop bar and bistro, the Island Time Bar & Grill for casual eats, and Back Alley Treasures, a cozy coffee shop with fun gifts and amazing treats (don’t skip the gluten-free key lime cake!).
Staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and the whole vibe was laid-back and welcoming. If you’re looking for a stylish, relaxing beach getaway on Anna Maria Island, Bridgewalk is a fantastic pick. We’d absolutely...
