I cannot say enough about this place. The owner and the rest of the staff are the most incredible and lovely, kind people I’ve ever encountered in the restaurant industry. That being said, I was in the restaurant industry for 18 years. The food is homemade and absolutely delicious. Freshly made to order. The best lasagna and complementary bruschetta I’ve ever eaten. It is no wonder this place has five stars. They treat you like royalty. It is in a cute little corner of a partially open air storied strip mall type of area. It’s very unique & decorated in a lovely manner. They were even making sure that we were cool and putting their fans towards us. The owner is so amazing. He even told me I could call him the day before I were to come in and tell him some of the things I would like to eat, and he would make it for me. Have you ever heard of this before? I don’t think so! We talked about our love for mushrooms, he brought out some fresh pasta that wasn’t on the menu and told me he would create something out of it and also do a mix and match of our meal. When we received the check many of the items were complementary. Our friends & my husband and I could not believe our eyes. At the end, we were hugging as new friends. I cannot wait to head back up north for another trip to AMI just to visit this amazing and wonderful gem. Thank you so much friends. We will...

If you’re in Anna Maria Island, Pan e Amore is a must-visit. When we asked locals where to eat, they all raved about this spot, and they were right.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and accommodating (even with our baby and big stroller). They explained that Chef Mauricio, originally from Naples, Italy, personally takes each order and cooks everything by hand. While that means it may take a little longer, the service team made us feel cared for, even bringing complimentary appetizers while we waited.

When Chef Mauricio came out, his passion and energy were contagious. He described the specials with such love that you couldn’t help but get excited. We ordered the lasagna and gnocchi bolognese, and when he brought them out himself, the aroma alone had us hooked. The taste was next-level, better than any Italian spot I’ve tried back home.

For dessert, we had the cannoli and tiramisu, both absolutely fantastic.

From start to finish, the entire experience was unforgettable. Chef Mauricio and his team have only been here a year, but if they keep this up, this little gem won’t stay “hidden” for long. This place is about to explode in the best...

We were walking the shops late night not knowing the downtown little area existed. My sister pointed out an italian spot because thats my favorite. Low and behold the owner Maurizio and his wife were cleaning the shop as it was closed (after 11pm). We waved hello and was just looking. He came out and introduced himself. He asked if we were visiting, where are we from and just joking my sister asks you have any left overs....Maurizio says OH YOU ARE HUNGRY! No worries give me a few minutes. He went back into his shop and whipped up 4 to go containers with lasagna AND one Core water and one Pelligrino....AT NO COST! We were so touched by his kindness and he refused to charge us. We were able to head back to our rental, told our family all about the experience while we ate that phenominal food! It was HOT, FRESH AND FULL OF FLAVOR! AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD!!! You dont come across good people like Maurizio & his wife who love what they do and why they do it! May God continue to bless their cafe! They are in between a large hallway in the bulding towards the back left by the way. (Hard to locate/see) You wont regret the visit and...

Can I leave 10 stars?! Pane e Amore Italian Cafe is absolutely amazing! This small, quaint, family-owned gem truly blew us away. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel like family. We told the owner to surprise us with our meal—and wow, did he deliver! The lasagna and the shrimp & scallop pasta were nothing short of five-star quality. The flavors were incredible, and everything was perfectly cooked. To top it off, they treated us to appetizers and dessert—on the house! What stood out even more than the food was the atmosphere. We watched locals come in, hugging the staff and stopping by just to say hello. It’s clear that this place is deeply loved by the community. If you're near the Bradenton Pier, do not miss this place! Make a reservation if you can, but even without one, they welcomed us in with smiles and genuine hospitality. The kindness and heart here are unmatched. Beautiful humans, unforgettable food, and the best dining experience we’ve had since arriving in Florida. Pane e Amore is a must-visit!

Let me tell you that we were never so pleased with the beautiful new addition to Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach, Florida: Pane E Amore Italian Cafe 🇮🇹! Mauricio & Luciana & their team treat you like family! If you’ve never had someone that could cook in your family…they will adopt you & you won’t ever want to leave! From opening with a bruschetta, then their charcuterie to their lasagna, their gnocchi brushed w grated wild porcini & sausage, to the desserts they are all to delicious! We had tiramisu & chocolate cake & holy cow I felt like I was truly in Italy all over again! I can’t forget the cappuccino either! If you don’t come here while on the island multiple times, YOU WILL BE MISSING OUT! This Chicagoan knows what she’s talking about! Tell Mauricio that Kristi from Chicago sent you!
