Back Alley Treasures — Restaurant in Brandenton Beach

Iced lattes are just ok. Better coffee on the island. Also pretty sure they are selling Costco bagels and muffins. Paid $3 for a bagel (and tiny slice of butter which was extra) and it tasted like I just had a Costco bagel. Plus the muffins are the exact same trio as what they sell at Costco. Will not visit again.

Edit: in light of the owners response, I feel the need to also comment on the hospitality of the place. The owner has quite a bad attitude, not welcoming, and can come off condescending. Maybe instead of laughing at a customers comment you take it seriously. This coffee shop would never last where I live. The only reason it has business is due to convenient location on bridge street. Additionally, we had gotten the bagels ($2.75 + 50 cents for butter = over $3 for a bagel and butter..) to go so I did not realize how small it was until we got back to our rental. only covered one half of the bagel, I can assure you it was comical how small it was, I don’t even use a lot of butter normally just a thin layer.

I would advise any coffee lover to not go here. The Anna Maria coffee shack is everything this place isn’t. Friendliest owners and workers, amazing coffee, the flavor you can add in isn’t just generic syrup (like this place). They have delicious hot food they make in house. Just a few minutes up the road....

I could literally write a novel about all the reasons that you NEED to visit here, but you might like it so much that I lose my seat at the bar! ;) Honestly this place unlike anything out there. It’s a coffee shop, it’s a bar, it’s a store! Local beans, brews, and crafts! Beyond the merchandise, the people are unmatched! The people are truly the reason to keep coming back! Heather, Travis, and Tammy become instant family when you walk through the door! They are ALWAYS smiling and kind, and they will go with the flow with drink orders! It is so easy to lose track of time when you are here because the smiles and laughter don’t stop! I have had my fair share of coffee experiences (in and out of FL) and Back Alley is by FAR my favorite! Tucked away on historic Bridge Street, they have a wide variety (10+) of flavors and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Aside from their delicious iced lattes, the best thing about this place is there is NO EXTRA CHARGE for milk alternatives. I felt this was a true testament to their integrity to customer service that I have not seen anywhere else. I now live locally in West Bradenton and always choose this as my first choice for drinking coffee out. Not to mention they are also the cutest...
