We stayed here for an extended weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is family-owned and operated and all staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet offered scrambled eggs, pancakes with warm syrup, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels and toast, and assorted juices and coffee. We found it to be well stocked each day we ate there. The buffet itself is located in a large banquet room with plenty of seating.
Parking is in the front and back of the hotel and there is easy access to the yellow route and Highway 76. It’s located right off the strip, but the traffic in front of the hotel doesn’t tend to get too terrible, so we found it easy to get in and out each day. You can walk right next door to Abby’s Tourist Trap, which is operated by the Dutton family also, and get delicious homemade cobbler or fudge, or $1 ice cream! The kids found this to be their favorite part of the stay!
You may want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner and bar soap, as they only had a shampoo/conditioner in one offered and liquid soap dispenser in the shower. Other than that, our room had a functional tv, microwave, fridge, and hair dryer. The rooms are a little dated, but were clean and the beds super comfy. Oh - and you get a physical key! I haven’t stayed in a hotel with a physical key in years, and I loved it!
All in all, a great family hotel that offers a delicious...
Read moreOur priorities when looking for a hotel are safe, clean, and relatively quiet—along with price. This hotel is older but in pretty good shape. It was extremely clean. We felt safe and it was very quiet. The doors open to the outside. The rooms are small but had enough room for us and our things. There was a desk chair but no other chair available—but there really wasn’t room for one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did come in and replenish the towels and empty the trash during our two day stay which wasn’t expected. While there were the usual hot choices—sausage links, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes—they weren’t good. Cereal choices were minimal. However, there was enough there to put together something that would meet your hunger needs. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower while you are out and about in Branson, this is a good one that won’t break your budget. It’s in a convenient location. There are fridges (not freezer) and a microwave in the rooms and also shampoo and body wash. We were...
Read moreUnsure why this place has such a high rating. To start I was called by Jeff to confirm my stay. When i asked for the top floor i was told they put kids on the low floor due to complaints of noise. I let Jeff know that my kids are older and well behaved and won't be a nuisance. Jeff replied with "that's what they all say". Well Jeff, after getting a top floor room, Im happy to report as I checked when we left your facility.. no complaints of noise were reported about my kids thanks! We couldn't watch tv due to no service in the room, air unit couldn't keep up and the beds were the worst I've ever slept on. If your looking for a good nights rest this is not your place. If your looking for something to get you through the night and comfort isnt a must, this will do. Cleanliness isnt so bad, showers are super low so if your tall you'll need to probably run a bath. For the most part it is quiet. After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a great stay, not so...
