Edit to owners response:
The 4 piece meals are $12 each. That's $24. The drinks are $3 each. That's $30 for two meals plus tax of $3.22. And $1 for about an Oz of yum yum sauce. $34.22 before tip. I gave a $5.52 tip, which is on me 100%. So for two meals you're looking at $34.22 without a tip. The exact same meal at Canes in Overland Park, KS last week was a total of $23.88 including tax. Your meals do not include drinks. And we received extra sauce, extra fries and a large drink (instrad of medium at your place) at Canes for $10.00 less. Four piece box combo. And the chicken was not greasy like that. I'll be back in Branson the end of this week, but over $30.00 is too much.
If you click on me up there, you'll see that I do not give bad reviews very often. Almost never. I try to find the good in everywhere I go. There were some things I did not like, such as the way they take your order and ask for a tip as they're staring at you, to the cramped way you are in line when placing an order with no space at all between you and other guests. All of that would be easy to overlook, even the $40 it cost for 2 4 piece tender meals with a drink, had the food been good. When I eat tenders Intear them intontwo or three pieces to let them cool off a little. These were so greasy you could not hold them tight enough to pull them apart. My wife and I help up several tenders and watched the grease drip over and over off of the chicken. The pictures do not do justice to how greasy they were. I understand they are fried in grease, but I do not get tenders from other places like this. We orderd 8 tenders total and ate 3, only because I'll eat about anything and that was a lot of money for what we got. Lol.... the people were nice, but the product was lacking. If the pricing were better, I may try it again just to see if it was an issue for just that day, but I'm not going to spend that again just to see. There are too many options that I know are good. The atmosphere was fantastic. The people were nice. The prices were too high. The chicken...

The chicken strips are massive! Most chicken places you have to order 5 or more to get a decent meal, but the 5 piece here makes two meals for most people. The seasoning in the breading was good, definitely not bland fried chicken. The fries were great, I wish we would have tried more sides because one of us got the homemade chips which were even better.
I had the jerk sandwich with grilled chicken. The sauce was good and had just a bit of heat. The slaw was excellent on it.
Service and staff were great. Food was out fairly quick and staff came by to check on you through the meal. It was set up to get your own drinks and clear your table but a staff member did help an older couple with their trays as they left.
Only reason for 4 stars is both sandwiches we ordered had burnt bottom buns. Looked like they were left on the griddle too long, and were pretty hard. The bathrooms were also past due needing cleaned. We were there early afternoon, not during the lunch rush, but they were still steadily busy.
Overall a great restaurant, definitely a recommended...
Read moreLet me start off with the staff is AMAZING they are very friendly and made the experience very enjoyable and the entire reason this review gets 3 stars. Now that we have that said onto the food. It’s okay. I’ve had better I’ve had worse, the tenders are small and they need seasoning options. I LOVE spicy food and there’s really no spicy option for anything here what they have isn’t really spicy. The fries are really good (same fries from getting basted which I love) the fried pickles need more breading on them the fried jalapeños were all very small jalapeño bits. Over all the food was just very average and 79 dollars for 6 tenders a sandwich a kids meal an appetizer and 1 beer is just too much for the quality of food. Also a dollar per extra sauce (small sauce cups) is an absolutely ridiculous price and I refused to get extra sauce. 3 of my 6 tenders were basically the size of a nugget the other 3 were larger but still pretty small for a tender of this price.
All of this said I never judge a new business very hard in their first couple months let alone their first week, I’ll be back again once they get in the swing of things and update this...
