I recently visited Eagles Landing Lodge Private Suites. My experience was amazing and unforgettable. I have traveled the world and usually at 5 Star Spa/Resorts. The moment I opened the door to my suite I was taken by the beautiful decor and design. I felt like I was at a 5 Star Hotel but with the benefit of an exclusive and private retreat. All of the suites were welcoming, cozy, peaceful, relaxing and magnificantly appointed with the best of high end finishes and amenitites. Its all in the detail the textures, colors, luxurious linens, soft yet supportive bedding and exquisite soaking bath for a jaw dropping experience. There were remotes for lights, fans, big screen TV and on and on. I hardly had to lift a finger. Every comfort was considered. I felt like the designer/proprietor left no detail out to assure my experience was the best ever. The suite, lodge and surroundings just took me away from any concern I may have had . For that time, those concerns were just left behind. The near by reastaurants and cuisine was diverse and delectable and just steps away from my suite. I have already attempted to duplicate the fabulous quiche from one of the three restaurants I visited. The afternoon, I found myself swaying in a hammock on the property watching the clouds go by and the gentle horses graze. The evenings, I spent relaxing on the front porch listening to the live band from across the street. This was a perfect get away just over in a neighboring state, a day trip. So peaceful and restorative. I highly recommend the Eagles Landing Lodge and Private Suites. Juanita Grooms, RN,...
Read moreJust spent 3 nights in The Dreamer. Perfectly named as you'll sleep like a baby in the peace and quiet of the Hill Country little town of Bulverde. We typically like to stay where there's a little more interaction with others. What we found was that happens here even if you're the only one using the facility. We visited the Vine restaurant across the street twice as well as The Hatch restaurant right next door. We loved being so close to walk. Also fell in love with the little gift shop owned by the sweet Jackie. That's what you get if you stay here. But the biggest bonus was the customer service via texting. We had a little issue and Abby responded right away and didn't leave us hanging and waiting. It wasn't a big enough issue to knock down their rating. I'd happily stay here in this sweet little quiet community lodging next time...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here for a weekend, while in town for a wedding in Spring Branch. The Lodge was a nice change from a chain hotel. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Next door is a bakery and lunch spot where we walked to enjoy breakfast one morning. We got lunch there also but brought it back to the Lodge and enjoyed a relaxing meal at the outdoor table on the porch. I highly recommend staying at the Lodge. We...
