My husband and I have been waiting for this place to open. Talking about leveling up…This place is top shelf. The landscape is gorgeous and when we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated by Rick. The dining room is beautiful very classy and they have a humidor with a chandelier. Shortly after being seated our waitress Summer came over and took our order. We both ordered the cucumber martini and they were both good. The presentation for the food was outstanding especially for the sliders. The chicken laid on top of spring lettuce. For dinner we ordered chicken wings, sliders and fries. I consider myself a chicken wings expert and “THE CHICKEN WINGS ARE BOMB!” I got the spicy wings and they were not too wet and messy and they were the perfect size. The sliders were perfect as is… the amount of fries you get with your order is plenty. The ranch dressing is good but, I tried a dill pickle dressing this is definitely a must try. After dinner we went outside to the patio to have a cigar and cocktails. Daniel was our waiter and he’s amazing. The big chairs were comfortable the music playing was nice and with the big fans blowing the temperature was just right. The staff checked on us a couple of times. Someone even told my husband “let me change the television for you” and he put the baseball game on for us. I had a Cosmopolitan on the patio and my husband had a shot Bullet Bourbon and we were both pleased with our drinks. Before we left we had the honor of meeting the owner Christine. Last but not least one of the most important things at a restaurant is the bathroom and Twill Bulverde...
Read moreAtmosphere- PERFECTION They designed this place a food masterpiece atop a hill with beautiful hill country views. The location and the design sets itself apart from MANY restaurants. WELL DONE!! Service- Needs to workout the new kinks possibly? 1st We were greeted by a very young and unseasoned host. She seemed very confused about our reservation and where to seat us. 2nd - It took 40 mins for our craft cocktails to arrive to our table. The server was also very young and unseasoned. As a foodie I expect for the server to get me excited about the food menu options and go over them. Get me excited about the menu. She was very MEH with little personality. Nice, but bland. She never went over the cocktails either nor did she have a clue what good wine was. That was a turn off. It turns out one of the restaurant owners was sitting in the dining room next to us socializing while the bartenders were backed up on drink orders. Not a good look for him! My advice to this place to attract the right clientele would be to have a seasoned host that knows how to handle people. Additionally to have wait staff that can go over the food and cocktail menu appropriately to sell sell sell! Also- to one of the owners- if your restaurant is having timely service issues then you need to be back there helping them. Not sitting socializing in the dining room while your paying customers are waiting for their...
