OYO Hotel Burlington South — Hotel in Burlington

It turns out this location in Burlington is for a hotel called The Maple Hotel. OYO Hotels rents out rooms from The Maple hotel (or so I understand). We booked a room online at the OYO Hotel. When we got to the location, the big hotel sign said The Maple Hotel (OYO Hotel sign was nowhere to be found) and these two paper signs were posted on the front doors (see pictures). The receptionist informed us that The Maple Hotel had already informed OYO hotels of the power outage on the side of the building The OYO Hotel rents out, however, the OYO Hotels kept advertising rooms available at this Burlington location on their online outlets. The receptionist was able to give us the last room available on the side of the Maple Hotel. The fact that OYO Hotels were still advertising rooms available at this location that night is unacceptable. There were no other hotel rooms available anywhere else in a 40 mile radius that night, so showing “availability” at this location that night, felt like a trap for many people. Alex and Marie was very nice and helpful. Place is clean. Friendly place. Stayed a week so far. I travel from out of state. They make sure I get a room and help me if I need help carry anything in. I am a disabled veteran and they go beyond their duty to help me. Great place to come to and stay at. I feel others are upset. Cause they don't get their way I understand front desk cannot get you the extra towels you need cause where they are left are locked up so no one can go into it. I believe everyone should get a second chance. If they are under new management give them a chance to prove themselves to everyone. Don't bad month them so fast . Everytime I come this place is clean. People smoke and they do clean it up after them. Smoke smell does lunger's down the hall from other smoking rooms. Towel under door is to keep the room extra cold or extra hot.. I will come back and will recommend other people to come here. Thank you for being such a friendly, nice kind...

So far have yet to receive refund been two days and alot of back and forth communication but keep being declined refund. Paid booking but no deposit ...no deposit was even mentioned at booking and when I went to check in I was told 100$ when I looked at card machine it said 150$ I then asked if I could be provided with anything stating I would receive it back once I checked out and was told no . I declined to stay there and immediately tried to get refund for the booking of room I even received an email stating I would get refund and never received it and when I go online to book a room so I could view polociea now it says if you cancel that day then I would receive refund but next day it would not be applicable but since I cancelled same night and never stayed I'm deserve a refund that I was already emailed that I would get. If they don't refund my money I will expose this hotel...
