It took over an hour to receive a key only after I expressed that she’s being this way because I’m…. Yes you guess it…. Black as hell and that she’s on video. She was very condescending especially after swallowing her pride and ego to give me keys. Rude is an understatement. It was fun for her until she accepted that this ain’t that.

Well I was going to write this hotel five stars only because the lady that checked me, Tammi, was above and beyond the greatest hospitality person I've ever met, but while I was there I wasn't able to use the laundry facilities and my thing is is I'm paying $109 a night and I want to do laundry because I'm traveling I should be able to do that. I was told that when I checked out that I could come back later when the laundry facilities were working and use them. I come back and the manager says no because I don't have a room there they can't let me in. Even though I have already paid for the night before and couldn't use the facility. This really irritates me. Makes me want to become a Bonvoy exclusive member and take my status somewhere else. * I saw the morning person right down on a piece of paper that the person that stayed in room 212 was coming back to do laundry because they were being worked on when I checked out. How that note did not get passed on to next shift is beyond me.

Blinking light outside room ( needed fixing ). Had to reboot the cable box myself just to get a signal. Toilet paper holder was hanging at an angle, shoddy workmanship around the toilet base. I have a mold allergy, when I spoke with the morning clerk she gave me an attitude and refused to offer any time of refund. All I got was extra rewards points. What a joke! I had to pay 140.00 to stay in a sub par room with mold. This hotel has gone down hill!

I’m completely heartbroken with my experience at Hampton Inn. I had a wedding in Ball Ground, GA and I wanted my guests to stay at the closest hotel if they needed to. Hampton Inn was the closest hotel and I decided to reserve 3 rooms for some out of town guests. I had a lot of troubles making that reservation in the first place. Front desk workers would transfer me to the manager, Joyce Neely, to make a “group/wedding reservation”. She would never pick up her phone or return several of my voicemails. Anyway, after making a reservation with some other department that they transferred me, I didn’t receive any emails with confirmation number or simply confirming that the reservation was received. I made several calls and requests to send me this confirmation email. I wanted to put the address of the hotel on my wedding invitations and I was hesitate to do so since the confirmation wasn’t received. After couple weeks of making that reservation and unsuccessful attempts of getting confirmation, I decided to cancel that reservation to avoid any troubles during my wedding day. I called couple weeks before that reservation was supposed to happen and asked them to cancel it and delete all credit card information that I gave them. I also asked them to send me an email confirming my cancellation. Again, I didn’t receive anything. I called them back , they told me that the reservation is canceled and I’m good to go. Other than a verbal confirmation I didn’t receive anything else. During my honeymoon, I receive 3 charges in total of $450 from Hampton Inn. Since I was overseas, I had to spend money to make an international call to Hampton Inn and clarify the whole situation. I was absolutely heartbroken to be hit with that amount after I spent so much on the wedding and especially since no one even stayed at that hotel. Front desk stuff didn’t want to talk to me at all, and they would transfer me to the manager. Same woman who never picked up my calls in the beginning, didn’t pick up my call that time as well. After leaving several voicemails , I received zero calls back. My family and I always try to stay in Hampton Inn when we travel but after that situation of poor customer service, completely unprofessional stuff and ignoring manager, we will never stay at your chain of hotels ever again. When I arrived at my room.. it had not been cleaned and dirty linens were thrown everywhere.. when. Called the front desk the person at the desk asked if I had asked for a clean room?!?!? WTH|You mean you have to ask for a clean room to get one.. i had no idea this was a policy since Covid.. which she assured me was true..( I still don’t think it is ) this was July 21) have I been living under a rock ? I’m elderly and use a cane.. I was placing my things on the trolley and having a hard time getting to the elevator.. she got me to the elevator but said she could not help me to my room because she was the only one on duty..which made me wonder where she was when I came in!! She certainly wasn’t at the desk.. I had to yell hello three times to get her to come to desk. |When I got to the room and saw what the condo of it was.. I called the desk and asked if she could send some clean linens up… she couldn’t do that SINCE SHE WAS THR ONLY ONE ON DUTY., I was physically unable to go get them myself. I just slept on a throw I had with me. This was the most horrible experience I have ever had bar none! I will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn again |And I would advise...

Overall it seems like a nice hotel but had a horrible experience which from the sounds of other reviews may have been a one-off occurance. During my 3 days, the cleaning team never went inside my room to clean or refill towels etc. I even called and asked can I get my room cleaned and she was helpful at front desk and said they would come soon. They never came... Main reason though I'm writing this review is how they handled a major health issue. The day I left the hotel I noticed I had received bed bug bites on my body. First time in my life. While I understand sometimes this may happen, I called them and also filled out one of their internal surveys mentioning the bed bugs and my room # to make sure they knew. I really just wanted to make them aware of the issue and need to clean the room I was in thoroughly before another guest arrives. They never called me back or followed up with me which seems extremely odd. I usually dont write reviews and call places privately if I have an issue but since they have not followed up my multiple messages and going on 3 weeks, I feel this is only option now to make sure they are aware of the...
