My wife and I just purchased a new dishwasher from HD. We had it delivered. We have always been loyal customers to HD and have spent thousands of dollars here over the past 12 years. We know the people at the Canton store really well, and they know us when we come in. This review is not to bash the store employees. They are great. The delivery service they used this past weekend is awful. We bought our appliance during the early black Friday sales event. The delivery was suppose to happen on Saturday, 11-11-17. They called that morning and said their truck broke down and rescheduled for Sunday 11-12-17. No problem. The issue was they said they would come between 11AM to 12PM. We waited all day and they never came. We wasted our day for a delivery that never came. We tried calling the delivery number and no one was there to answer the phone on Sunday. We called the store and were told we were on the schedule for that day. Monday morning came and my wife called the delivery service again. They said they had us down for 1:30PM to 5PM. First, we both work for a living, so we are not home when thy decided to change our time to their convenience. My wife said they will deliver last stop of the day. They agreed but I still had to be home before 3PM to be there. The delivery people arrived around 4PM. The guy sees my already removed dishwasher in the garage and asks me where I want the new dishwasher placed. I replied I want it installed. Dumb and dumber looked at me with an ass look and reluctantly installed it. I will mention, once they left, I had to fix the crooked installation of the dishwasher. I would have installed it myself if I had the option to take the appliance home from the store the day we bought it. They donāt keep stock in the store. My advice, donāt buy from HD with their current install company if you need it installed! The third party company they use sucks!! This is a major fail. Next time I will buy from Brandsmart and do the install myself. Their delivery from Brandsmart has always been extremely professional. The last dishwasher was installed by Loweās years ago and the install...

When I arrived at the store, I told the customer service rep that I was there to purchase the mower, but the floor model showed that the price was $2499. I let her know that the advertised price was $2399, which should be correct as the Tractor Supply down the road was also selling them for $2399. When I said this, another customer service representative chimed in and said loudly that "we don't match the competitors price". I let her know that I was requesting THEIR price, and not looking for a price match. She seemed perturbed, and lead me out to the model that was priced at $2499 where she looked at it and said, "this is a new 2022 model with a new 23hp engine instead of the 2021 with a 22hp engine which was advertised. I said that if that was the case then fine I'll pay the 2499. Paid for the mower and told them I'd pick it up next day. Went to pick up next day, and after some more issues with customer service that I won't go into, finally had someone help me roll the new mower onto my trailer. Got home and unloaded the mower, filled it with gas, and it wouldn't crank. Checked the battery, and it wasn't hooked up. Not only that, but the hardware that was to come with the mower for the battery was missing (required some specialized hardware). I was able to connect the battery with some random hardware I had, and then cranked it up to cut the grass. Drove for 10 minutes, and while cutting grass the steering wheel fell off. Popped the center cap of the wheel off and found the bolt just sitting in the recess of the wheel, and it was never screwed in to start with.... just set in the hole and covered with the center cap. Lastly, in looking over the engine initially to get it started, saw that the engine was a 22hp unit, and was no different than the one advertised for 2399 to begin with. The service rep had no clue what they were...

I actually met my late husband at a local Home Depot, my current significant other also used to work at Home Depot. We were in their a couple weeks ago needing to buy a large amount of sand bags. We walked in let the pro desk know what we needed if they could start pulling it and have it ready while we went to grab a few more items, we were told they couldnāt do that we needed to pay for it before they would pull it. Ok fine. We grabbed what we needed, checked out, and they were radioing for help when we were walking out to pull up the car. Then an associate came out and told us they canāt pull the sand bags and bring them out for us. Mainly because the store was such a mess they couldnāt get a forklift to the door. Not because it couldnāt be done. When we asked why, he grabbed a cart and stormed inside the store. My significant other followed him and helped him load the sandbags on the cart, but then the associate walked off, didnāt help push the cart back out front, or load up into the car. Just left. Luckily my significant other was there because I was there with my 4 month old. Iām not sure what I would have done if I had that same response with a baby in my arms for material Iāve already paid for. The next week we ordered and paid for material to be delivered to the house on a certain day. That never happened either, I wound up cancelling the order getting a refund and ordering with Loweās. I am now a Loweās customer and will not be going back to Home...
