KYLIN SUSHI & HIBACHI — Restaurant in Canton

Just came for the first time and I have to say, the quality of the food and friendly faces of the staff genuinely makes this restaurant one of the best in the area, especially considering they are new.

Staff: Before I even entered the restaurant, the staff proved their excellence. A welcoming face opened the door for me and walked me to my table, and continued as our waiter, performing wonderfully and smiling throughout. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Food: I got the steak teriyaki bento box. The steak was so tender and juicy, and the yum-yum sauce brought on the side was a perfectly made tasty addition. The vegetables were piled high next to the steak and were cooked perfectly. The shrimp tempura was absolutely the best I've ever had.

Wait/Time: I came at 5PM and did not have to wait. There is enough room for about 40 patrons, which im sure will be expanded upon as the business grows. (I certainly hope it will, the restaurant deserves to do wonderful for how traditional and perfectly the food was prepared.)

Prices: Between my plentiful amount of steak and vegetables along with fried rice in the bento box and my California rolls and drink, I only ended up paying 21 dollars. Considering the serving sizes and local prices, I would say this is easily below average considering the area.

update Ordered again from here tonight and had it delivered. Ordered the hibatchi teriyaki salmon with fried rice, sautéed veggies, and clear soup. The salmon was small but very tasty and not overcooked. Veggies were great as well. The clear soup was delicious. Also pictured is an order of teriyaki yakisoba. This is my daughters favorite. Thank you again for the great food.

I've been driving past this place for over a year now and have been hesitant to try. After looking at sushi from around the area, this place had raving reviews. Finally, I tried it! When I tell you this is the BEST sushi I think I've ever had, it definitely is. We went on a Sunday around lunchtime. Very clean and decorated nicely. We ordered the rock shrimp, which was battered perfectly and tossed in a tangy creamy hint of spice and sweet sauce. These are delicious. Also pictured is Jack roll which was stuffed with spicy tuna topped with four kinds of other fish, avacado, and drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The other roll is the Red dragon roll, which is shrimp tempura, cucumber, topped with steamed shrimp and eel sauce. Both rolls were absolutely perfect. Disappointing Experience - Won't Eat Here Again

We recently ate here, and unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. We waited for over an hour for our food to arrive, which was already a frustrating start.

To make matters worse, when our steak finally arrived, it was completely overcooked, well done instead of the medium rare we had ordered. It had a roast taste, which was not what we expected or wanted. The chicken also had a strange, funky taste.

Things took a turn for the worse when my daughter sent her dish back due to being dissatisfied with the taste. When we received our check, the restaurant had not deducted her meal from the bill. When we brought this to their attention, they initially only offered a 50% discount for a single bite of food. It took several conversations with three different staff members before the charge was finally removed.

Overall, we feel incredibly disappointed with the service, quality of food, and the way the situation was handled. Charging us any amount for a dish that was sent back after just one bite seemed unreasonable and unfair. We definitely feel that our money would be better spent at a different hibachi restaurant where we can expect better service and value.
