I had a bad experience at our previous pharmacy and was told the Publix one was better so we decided to give them a chance and it was the worst decision I could have ever made. Our pediatrician called in our prescription at 11AM and I called at 1PM to check the status on it and was told they couldnāt start anything until they built a profile for us yet they never once called to tell us that we had to call to get the ball rolling. They lady i spoke to had the most rude comments as if i knew that. I called again at 5PM bc we had not heard back and we were told they would have it ready by then only to find out one of the three medicines was out of stock again they did not call us we had to call to get this information. When we called they said they would have it ready by 6:30 so we go and lo and behold they were not ready. It is not almost 7:30 and we have been told repeatedly that it will be ready in 15 minutes⦠they could have told us from the beginning they did not have it ready and we would have put it in at another pharmacy. I cannot believe this is how you handle medicine for people who need it. Please for the love of God be upfront with people. If you do not want the business let us know from the beginning so I can go elsewhere. Please use any other pharmacy...

My daughter arrived at this Publix pharmacy to pick up antibiotics for my 4 year old granddaughter, that had already been placed by the doctors office. She got to the pharmacy at 8:35. They close at 9. She was told there was not time to fill as they close at 9. Itās for amoxicillin to treat strep throat. My daughter asked could she please fill that night so she get her the antibiotics started and not to have to drive back 30 minutes the next morning to pick up with a sick child. The lady told her she would not but she would fill it as soon as she got in the next morning. Because my granddaughter missed her meds she was feeling worse the next day. So I drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Once I arrived at the pharmacy I was told it would not be ready until 10:30. Ridiculous! We have no problems with FreeHome or Midway Publix. The pharmacy associates are very rude which apparently they should not be working with people in general if they canāt at least be respectful and friendly! Not only that but I had surgery and some other issues to where I needed my Medication asap but multiple times it takes over 6 hours to a day or 2 to fill your medication! Iām pregnant and really needed antibiotics and nausea meds and took over a day to get it! They have multiple people working there is no way it should take this long!
