If you are looking for PEACE, QUIET and TRANQUILITY, you should stay here, and as soon as possible. If you love to listen to the birds, stare at the trees and beautiful gardens all around you while you sip your coffee and sit on a nice and comfortable chair in the porch, then this place is for you. If you love walking on leaves, listen to the nature, the noise of the leaves, take out the car and continue seeing trees and nature in the street, then, this place is definitely for you. And, this is not all, imagine a cottage, a very comfortable one, in the countryside, where you are able to forget all your problems, and in the morning you are greeted with a wonderful and delicious country style homemade breakfast, yes, these owners, they prepare the breakfast for you like they are your aunt and uncle, close relatives, not strangers, and you can choose what you want the night before, and there are several delicious options. It is fresh, warm, delicious and perfect. And, this is not all, the room I stayed in is very comfortable with a living room, with a wonderful view. You find all you need in it, including a refrigerator and a microwave, and in the hallway, you will find movies, cold drinks Ane cold water to choose from. And, the owners are always there to help you, always willing to help you. Cape Charles is a marvelous little town to rest, not to make noise, and the beach is fantastic, calm and peaceful. This was our first travel to Cape Charles. Such a beautiful quant harbor town. And nestled just near the town center we found our destination, The Fig Street Inn. The owner, Greg, was there to greet us and show us his beautiful Inn while telling us all that the town had to offer that weekend. If you visit be sure to come during Festive Friday, it was a true holiday treat! Our room was a lovely large suite and was the perfect mixture of old world charm with modern amenities. From the luxurious linens, massive fire place, plush bedding and pillows, antiques, television and blue ray player, beautiful modern bathroom, and so much more, you'll want for nothing. Throughout the inn you'll find many more amenities to make your stay perfect. Movies, refreshments, games just to name a few. Mornings include a savory breakfast. Offerings include a superb specialty coffee from RI, juices, teas, freshly made muffins and cinnamon buns followed by the main course, which was made to order omelets one day and French toast with a variety of toppings the second day. Greg is not only the perfect host but also quite the chef! Our stay was nothing short of superb! We will definitely be back!...

What an incredible stay! Fig Street Inn is a true gem in Cape Charles. This beautifully restored home is not only gorgeous on the outside but also warm and welcoming on the inside. The charming common areas create the perfect setting to relax or strike up a conversation with other guests—it feels like a home away from home.

Innkeepers Greg and Donna are exceptional hosts. They mingle with guests often, sharing great stories and making everyone feel right at ease. They’ve done an outstanding job of bringing back the home’s original charm while seamlessly incorporating all the modern comforts one could ask for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making the stay both cozy and luxurious.

The breakfasts—and even some lunches—prepared by Greg were absolutely delicious! You can truly taste the care he puts into every dish, and it added another level of warmth and hospitality to the experience.
