St. Charles Catholic Church — Local services in Cape Charles

This is an absolute gem of a church! My mom, brother and I visited Cape Charles for Easter and attended the Easter Vigil here. Right from the start, the people were so kind, loving and genuinely friendly, offering water to my elderly mother. And the liturgy is so beautiful and reverent combining traditional hymns, a sprinkling of Latin chant and more. The pastor is a truly holy “they don’t make ‘em like that anymore” type of priest. And afterwards?! Three of the ladies hugged me and were so warm, kind and welcoming and struck up a conversation. I wish I lived here so this could be my church! Seriously, most of the other churches in Virginia should follow this parish’s example because this is how to do things the right way. Happy Easter and thank you to everyone at parish who showed Christ’s love to me...
