Wish I read the reviews prior to booking this hotel! Do yourself a favor and find another hotel! We arrived on Thanksgiving evening. To start, the parking lot is very poorly lit and attached to what looks like a vacant mall. There was a beat up trailer with a broken down race car with a flat tire parked out front. There were only 2 other vehicles in the parking lot. Check-in took forever even though we were ones checking in. The hotel had a dingy smell and the carpets were old and dirty. The next morning my wife who is 8 months pregnant and my 23 month old both felt ill so I went to the front desk to check out at 10:55am. The man behind the counter who I believe was the owner instantly became defensive and rude. When I told him I wanted to check out he said, "What?! Check Out? But you booked 2 nights!" I informed him that my pregnant wife and toddler were both feeling ill and that we feel it would be best to make our way home to Orlando. He seemed angry and again stated that I booked for 2 nights. I once again explained my situation. He printed off the receipt and forcefully placed it on the counter. $285!! For 1 night in a dingy hotel. I said, 'You are going to charge us for a full 2 days and 2 nights? I checked in last night and I am checking out before 11am." I asked could he help us with the cost considering my wife is pregnant and ill as well as my child. (more than likely from the air quality, both were severely congested). He said no and that I am trying to hurt his business. I stated that my intent was simply to get my family home so they will feel better and since there was only 2 other cars in the parking lot I felt I was not inconveniencing him nor was I causing a booking problem for him (it was obvious that nearly all rooms were available) He told me I needed to learn about business and he was not going to help. He said that the owners would not let him bend the rules (I am sure he was the owner as he picked up the phone to call a company and inquire about purchasing a new King bed and furniture set for one of the rooms. He did this while I was waiting for my final receipt which he had me wait 30 more mins for). Our booking agent even called him to urge him to have a little compassion for our situation and I overheard him tell the agent that we could go or we could stay, either way he did not care! I told him that by not helping us and doing the right thing he would receive my honest yet negative review online. He stated that he did not care and that I am trying to hurt his business. I questioned him by asking, "So what you are telling me is that you would rather risk losing future bookings versus taking care of a guest in need?" He said, "I do not care" I have attached a few pics of this hotel. You will see an empty parking lot, a tattered and old American Flag, a makeshift bench outside the entrance, and the broken down trailer and race care out front! Do yourself a favor and find a better option! Now I will also place myself in his shoes. EMPATHY!! This goes a long way. If a guest was wanting to check out early I would first ask that guest if everything was ok with their room, the hotel, the staff. Did we fail you somehow? I would then make a decision as to whether the financial blow of a 1 night stay coming off the books would make sense for guest satisfaction as well as for the reputation of the hotel. He mentioned to me that I need to learn more about business but I think he could stand to learn a thing or...
Read moreOur family traveled from missouri for a funeral and the owner/manager Vasant Patel was extremely rude!!! We had family members come to change in our room and he told us he was going to charge us extra even tho they just came to change. We were also told there is no smoking in the hotel which is understandable so we smoke outside on the bench which is located outside he then came out and told us we were not allowed to smoke and was told to not ash on the ground. Breakfast was closed early and they advertise "Hot Breakfast" however the only thing that was hot was the waffle but wait it gets better... after making the waffles we noticed the syrup was about empty and also the milk we asked for more and he refused to bring anymore out... if you want coffee only expect him to give you 2 sugars otherwise he will charge extra as well as for the jelly. Our room refrigerator didnt even work and he refused to give any discount!! The kids were extremely upset when we were told the pool wouldnt be open due to chemicals being put in the pool (shouldnt that be done at night when the pool is closed?) Well apparently not...

Read moreNormally I research place that my husband and myself stay in. We travel a lot on business. We were driving and at some point I drifted off to sleep. He stopped got us a room. He was ready to lay down. I’ve worked as a front desk clerk and know how to accommodate guest. Ha that’s a joke to this place. I called the he front desk to find out where the ice machine was? She informed me that they currently didn’t have one. So I wanted to leave. Plus I just felt the room to be creepy. After a minute I calmed down. And hooked up my fire stick. Tried to change the input (HDMI position) on the tv. The remote that was in the room was held together with duct tape. So I called the front desk again. I asked for a remote for the tv that would control everything not just the volume and chancel changing. She refused that as well. At this point I told her we were coming to get a refund and leave. She again refuse that, cause we’d been checked in for over 15 minutes. Now we’re both 50 plus years old and married to each other. Not like we were there for a quick roll in the hay. We went outside, only to see a drug deal. Couples screaming and fighting. We left got a drink and ate a meal. When back to the hotel. Slept a couple of...
