My daughter and I stayed her for 2 nights with our fur baby while vacationing in beautiful Cayucos. Never have I stayed at a place where pets were so graciously welcomed. Initially, we were going to bring our 3 boys, but ended up just bringing one. He was welcomed with a personalized doggie dish and treats. I did call a few days in advance to let them we would only be bringing the one, but to our surprise was welcomed with all 3 bowls. They told us to take them home. How sweet is that?
The rooms were cute, clean, and just what we needed. We slept great in the comfy king size bed. There was a fridge and coffee maker in our room. There is a community microwave available for everyone to use as well. They also have an outdoor shower so you can rinse your fur babies off after going to the beach. We loved it and used it exactly for that.
I also loved the convenient location of this motel. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. We were also steps alway from beach access.
Overall, we had a lovely stay at this motel and will definitely return next summer if not sooner. My daughter and I are already planning to make this a yearly trip...
Read moreDo not stay at this motel... Are not pet friendly. They dictate how you must be with your dog twenty four seven. Had a wedding to attend and was told dog's could not stay in rooms at any time unattended. Said they are trained to lay down and wait for us to return... And said no damages would come to the room. Answer was no from them. Said we could put our dogs in our van.... Who does this to animals... This was a cruel statement from a pet friendly motel. Also were upset when a family member came to room and wanted to walk one of the dogs she immediately came darting over to question us for she thought we were trying to sneak in another person in our room. These people are rude... Demanding... Non -professional and make up rules as they go. Said if you don't like it find another hotel .... Yah right- on a Saturday night and all motels are no vacancy. Also they break their own rules.... Room next door had 3 dogs... policey says only 2. Please take some advice from a dog lover of 2 beautiful saint Bernards and do not stay at this ...
Read moreThe only reason for the one star is because the bed was comfortable. After driving all day, fatigued and tired we stopped there for a room. By 9.45pm the owner and her helper were still making an amazing amount of noise that we could hear through the paper thin walls. Salami g doors talking at the top of their lungs and quite frankly being disrespectful of their one guest,. I got out of bed to ask when quiet time was in this hotel. The owner snapped at me replying "TEN O'CLOCK THE WHOLE TOWN SHUTS DOWN". Rude, to be sure. Breakfast was confusing as well, however once they decided to lay out the food on the front counter at 8am, it was delicious. Mellon balls of all kinds, juice, coffee, muffins, nut squares, and honey served well to put us back on the road. If you want to be treated like a wanted guest by the owner.....dont stay here! The girl with the green hair who made breakfast was delightful. The price at $160 for one night was a gouge. We...
