Old Cayucos Tavern & Card Room — Restaurant in Cayucos

Nice small town pub type bar. Cozy dark quiet during the day, lively on Friday and Saturday nights. The bartenders are polite and friendly. Like ant bar u can smell the different types of alcohol that has spilled on the floor. They have an iTunes machine which is nice, but it's connected to their mic system so when they have live bands, it kicks your song off and doesn't replay when the band stops, so yo loose you money for that song. Over all great place, but one thing happened once while I was there with friends. My friend ordered a beer, but the glass wasn't washed and there was tequila in it cuz the beer was mixed with it. Classic western saloon near the beach. Looks like it's been there for 200 years (but modernized.) Hell, I found BAD LIVERS on the juke! There are poker rooms in the back but we didn't make it for a game. Also pool and a very long table-top shuffleboard. First, it's a cash only bar. They do live music here most weekends, but the owner has a set playlist so if you come often you'll get TIRED of the same songs. Lots of people do dance though. Two pool tables in another area separate from the bar and dance area. Shuffle board in another area although it needs work bad and more of that "white sand" badly
