We checked in late (11 pm when our flight got in), the guy at the desk was very rude. You can't just go inside, you have to go around the side of the building to a window and he pushed a tray out and said card and id. Comes back with those and our room card and points to the other side of building.
The pics they post on their site make the place look super nice. But it's far from that. As soon as you walk in you could smell a musty smell. Our curtains were covered in mildew all along the bottom. Under the sink was a lot of mold. On the ceiling above the shower was mold. Because it was late and we couldn't go in the front doors and the guy was rude we waited until the morning to go afk if they could move us to a different room that didn't have mold and mildew in it. The girl at the desk told me they didn't have any rooms available other than a smoking room and asked me to show her what I was talking about. As soon as she walked in she said she could smell the musty smell. I showed her the curtains and she couldn't believe it. Then I showed her under the sink and the ceiling. She told me they would clean with bleach and assured me the problem would be taken care of. I told her I still wanted to be moved to a different room since that all triggered my allergies and I didn't want to smell the bleach, or at least get a discount. She said she would text "him" to ask. I told her we were leaving for the day for our granddaughters birthday party and would check back with her when we got back, she informed us she was there until 8 pm. When we got back I went into the office and she just looked at like she had no idea who I was. She said is there something you need. I said I was wondering if you are able to move us to a different room or if you are able to give us a discount for all the inconvenience and she said did you check your room yet. I said no I came here first to ask . She said go check your room first. My husband and I went to our room but we were not able to get in. Went back to the office and told them and again they talked to us like we were stupid. One of them came with us and tried the key and relayed to the others that we couldn't get in. Then the guy who checked is in the night before went to the door with us and knocked and said "police open up" as if someone was in our room with the door locked. It was then they decided to call, I'm guessing it was the owner, who came with a key to the deadbolt. He claims he was "testing" the locks and must have forgot to unlock it when he was done. So we finally get in, our curtains were changed to some ripped ones but no more mildew, the wall under the sink still had mold and the ceiling still had mold. My husband went to the office and let them know and the guy told him it just had to be painted. The unfortunate thing is we tried to find another place to stay but there was nothing...
Read moreOn March 12 we checked into our hotel that evening and a white female assisted us and helped us get Checked in and a white gentleman. And we went to check in to the room and then noticed a roach and a few scrapes and wear and tear to the room but let it go. We got dressed and went out to eat and got back roughly around 10:15 and as I get into the bed I noticed a blood stain and my fiancé called the front desk and reported it the guy stated he could not help and there was no other options and that he didn't have a key my fiancé bid him a goodbye and I asked what was his name my fiancé didn't know so i called back up there and he answers the phone with an attitude by saying "yeah" and I reply "yeah?" That is how you answer a phone call? What is your name? That is all I need ... He then replied and said you want to know my name come to the office and I did just that and recorded his entire actions he accused me and my fiancé of putting the blood on the sheets and that is what made things get worse. I had a big altercation with him and he still refused to give me his name. My fiancé took the comforter down there to show him and he still was argumentative. Earlier he had given me the finger and I told my fiancé and he asked him why did he do that and he said because of how I was acting and he admitted it on video which we have recorded. My fiancé asked if we could get our money back he refused that so we went to the room to pack up and leave. As we go back to turn in the keys a gentleman was checking in and I warned him to not get a room there and the guy got upset and threatened to call the police and we said please do because we are leaving anyway. We were disrespected and didn't get to stay until the room comfortably and also was not even offered another room which they had available obviously because he was checking someone else in. We deserve a full refund and I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It is dirty, and horrible customer service at night by the gentleman that appeared to be an Indian man. He was an older man and very rude. This place has low stars...
Read moreThis hotel has lots of potential mostly due to the Manager, Harry. I booked my stay with him back in January. Harry was courteous, polite, and professional. He went above & beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived late that night, though, the person at the desk was rude & abrupt. I called, when I was in the area, to say I was lost and asked for directions. He put me on hold and never came back to the phone. When I found my way and arrived, I asked him why he put me on hold when I was lost and he replied, I had another customer. I couldn't believe it. If it wasn't so late and I wasn't so tired after driving 17 hours, I would have left. I'm glad I didn't. The next day I met Harry, in person. He was everything a good Manager should be. Harry even arranged to drive us to our Cruise ship and offered to pick us up on our return. We stayed for the weekend upon our return because Harry spoke so well of the area and suggested some sight-seeing. Harry offered brochures, discounts and recommended restaurants. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful time. He introduced us to the staff, Jodie at the desk, the two lovely Housekeeping ladies and the Maintenance man. Everyone we met was wonderful, friendly, professional and exemplified hospitality. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast and Harry gave us complimentary water bottles. The hotel should probably think about using the room nearest the Fitness area to install a Hot Tub, since there's no pool. I'm sorry to say that the employee on the Night desk should be replaced with someone as qualified as the others. He's not the right person for that job, in my opinion. Other than that, I'd be happy to stay there again. Harry and staff contributed to our wonderful visit. We're grateful for their time and attentiveness. It was truly our pleasure...
