After booking a hotel room online at a Hampton Inn by Wyndham and showing up to be told that there are no rooms available even though we booked online and had confirmation email, we ended up here as they had one room left when no one else in a 10 minute radius had any rooms available. We arrived here shortly after 2AM, the exterior of this building was just depressing and than as soon as you enter the front doors it was musky and the carpets were filthy…there was not a welcoming vibe at all. So we get to our room and right away, our feet were sticking to the floor, they didn’t look clean at all as you could see dirt and spills all over, one out of the two queen beds had bedbugs behind the pillows, there was an active live bug with little black specs all around which were it’s feces, the “headboards” were so filthy it looked like they had never been cleaned. The second bed had dirty used looking sheets that were wrinkly like they had already been used and long strands of long hair all over the fitted sheet as if it was never changed? The mini fridge was disgusting inside and out, it’s not that hard to wipe things down why wasn’t this done? The floor board heaters had food, hair, sticky wet looking stuff all along the top which was very visible so I don’t understand how that was missed. After our findings we immediately checked out, told the lady there is bugs in the one bed and the other bed never had the sheets changed. She apologized saying that was the last room, she doesn’t have anything else. We wouldn’t have stayed there even if there was another room. We left and drove 1.5hours home and didn’t get home until 4AM at this point. What a nightmare. Also we were charged $165 for this room which was the same rate as the Hampton Inn by Wyndham which was a much nicer clean hotel. Just in shock how that could have been the...
Read moreWorst hotel I have ever been in! Tried to book online on their website but it wouldn't let me complete my transaction. So I decided to call. I asked about the room for the rate on the website and was meet with a very rude attitude. Nonetheless, I booked the room for the price he quoted me on the phone. We checked in to our "smoking room" which included an ashtray. We left to celebrate my birthday came back, turned the sheets and there were oil stains all over and what looked to be an unknown substance in the middle of the bed. Went down to ask the manager for new sheets and he immediately started yelling and told us he was going to call the cops. The cops showed up and told us we were being kicked out because we were being a disturbance (which is also when he told me there was no smoking allowed in the rooms even though we paid for one). I went to talk to the manager before we left with an officer about getting a refund seeing as we only stayed in the room a few hours. He flat out refused. I'll be getting a hold of corporate with all my pictures and videos. Hopefully this place...
Read moreOur kids live in Chaska, and the motel choices are awful. We decided to try this one after having a horrible experience at another motel at the other end of town closer to 169. Super 8 was a decent price, so we figured, how bad could it be? Worse! My positive points are that the woman at the desk who appeared to be the owner operator was very pleasant and our room was clean. However, the entire building smelled of smoke. Lots of items in our room were in disrepair. Poor trim in the bathroom, a gross shower curtain, cigarette burns in the comforter - I could go on and on. And oh yeah, the bed broke upon climbing in. Neither of us are overweight, and we weren't doing anything funny. But something in the middle snapped, so we slept all night with a big valley in the middle of the king bed. We survived the night and left early the next morning. We did not see or hear another soul - except for the lady at the desk upon check in. I wrote a scathing review when Wyndham sent a survey after our stay. I would never stay here again nor would I...
