If I could give this Walgreens a negative 5 stars I would. I ordered my medications and didn't have a chance to pick them up because I was out of town so they shelved them. So I reordered them yesterday on the app and went in today to pick them up because they said they would be ready by 10 AM this morning. However when I showed up they only had one medication ready for me. My blood pressure medication and my cholesterol meds weren't available because because they couldn't rebill my insurance. They told me that I would have to wait to get them until tomorrow. I'm a diabetic and I raised concerns to 2 employees about not having my medications both of whom did not care. They never offered to talk to the pharmacist so maybe I could just get a pill to carry me over tonight no alternatives were given. One of the employees actually looked at me and scoffed and said if you would have picked it up on time this wouldn't have happened. I would like a call from a manager and also I'm seeking legal ramifications if anything happens to me without my medications because Walgreens denied to fill my prescriptions. But the real kicker was is one of the medications they did fill even though they had taken it off the shelf so why they could do it for 1 and not my other 2 very important...
Read moreI dont often leave bad reviews, but this place went from ok to being the absolute wost. I have been filling prescriptions here for the last year upon moving to chaska. Over the last 2 months this place has gone all the way down hill. They do not process prescriptions requested through the app. They always sit there until you call in. It takes 45-60 minutes to get through to a staff member, and thats if they dont pick up and put you straight on hold after waiting in the que. Even when it's way past the pickup date. Staff claims, "everyone keeps quitting and they can't keep staff".You need a certification to work in a pharmacy. This is a small town where i doubt there is a lot of competition for employees. If you consistently can't keep staff, that's just poor management. They are also not always open during listed hours, even though there hours have been scaled back drastically. I was also told if I didn't like it, I can go to another pharmacy. At this point I would rather get out of my car and go into target. I would rather stand in CVS ridiculously long line and KNOW my prescription will be ready. Its still quicker that waiting on hold, then waiting for them to fill a prescription you requested days ago. They dont have staffing issues and will call back to address issues...
Read moreAnd again 11/2023 now... another day of random closing at 6pm. I call and recording says 10pm. It normally takes 20min for someone to answer, so I have to drive up here just to find paper signs taped to the door. Thanks for giving me 1 option to drive over an hour round trip to go get meds my kids and I need. Can't wait for CVS to be back in my network 2024!
Updated again 10/2023... just to confirm nothing here has changed. Another poor experience. Still must be short-staffed cause they randomly close at 6pm. That's way too early for a pharmacy that people rely on to close.
They never get your Rx started until you get there or call, even if the doctor calls it in. Always have to wait like 15-20 minutes... that's after waiting in line, cause those are long no matter what time of day it is. Sometimes you're lucky if they're even open normal business hours. They are short-staffed. They also don't call or send a text when they're out of stock of an Rx either, which is like all the time. They wait til you show up... and then say they can't transfer to another Walgreens and it's up to you to call. Wish I could go to CVS but insurance prevents that. Avoid...
