Home Depot in Clarmont Florida has giving me so much aggravation. I bought a washing machine from them a little over a year ago and it was a little noisy. I thought it was normal until someone told me that doesn’t sound normal so I have called them at Allstate I was told that I had to call the Local store. Well, I have done that a number of times and nobody answers. I was trying to reach the manager’s department. I assumed that the noise was normal, but I’ve been told by other people it isn’t. I did not report it when it was under the warranty, which I should’ve done. I purchased a five year protection plan causing me an additional amount of money. I’ve been told by two representatives that they can’t file a claim for me to have someone come over and fix or at least check out if there is a problem because I said that, yes, it was noisy from the beginning. I never thought that the small amount of noise would be a problem. I am hard of Hearing. I will never do business with them again unless the corporate office can help me out with the situation. They wouldn’t even consider letting me talk to a supervisor or someone above them. They just kept repeating that I’m not eligible to have a repair man come over under the policy that I paid for for repairs. I guess they wanted me to lie and say it wasn’t there in the beginning, and I’m not a liar. I am very upset. They did record the whole conversation, and I made it very clear to them that when they use the word damaged, it should not be running or there’s a problem with the performing. Read moreMy wife and I have been customers for over 15 years in Chicago land. We have never experience the difficulty. We have experienced here in Florida. We ordered a washing machine online, which was to be delivered to Key West. Upon arrival, the delivery service advised us he was running late And needed to reschedule. We told him it would take us five minutes to disconnect the dryer above the washer to which he stated didn’t have time and left after spending half an hour talking on his phone? He then left and said we had to reschedule. We called immediately to have it rescheduled for the next day. Only to be advised that the unit to be delivered was damaged and it could not be replaced until the next Wednesday, a period of six days. we received full cooperation from the management hear in Key West Home Depot only to be advised that they had no control over the delivery service. Like many of you, we have spent over $200,000 last year at Home Depot and my wife ordered 11 appliances for various homes , which were all delivered in the Chicago area with no problems. Hopefully the Tampa office can intercede and correct the delivery services to Key West, which are basically negative. Naturally, we canceled the order and purchased from Lowe’s. Read moreHere's our story, sad but true. We got a total kitchen from the Venice, FL. Store almost 10 yrs ago. The main cabinet had termites. The store said they weren't responsible as the installer could have used infected wood. We along with our bug company battled said bugs and kept them contained in the cabinet. We finally decided to bite the bullet and replace the cabinet, along with a new sink, facet and counter top. The new stuff matches pretty well. Anyway...cabinets arrived, the sink and facet was forgotten to be ordered. Then on the day of cabinet install, no arrival or call. We called to find out what happened, now! Oh, the cabinets need to be inspected. Maybe....tomorrow? Then....the installation? Then...Measurements for the counter and sink? Then....schedule the plumber? They say, Oh, we're so sorry. No! I'm sorry! Our vacation has to be postponed, but they're sorry!? Menards!!! Why aren't you here in the south!!!!? Home Depot, I guess, more than $8,000 doesn't mean much to you....
