Booked this hotel due to my family relocating to the area while we did our final inspection and closing.
I will never be back, and will be reconsidering staying at any Marriott property moving forward.
The person in the room next to ours had their TV blaring so loud the first night we were here. So loud I could hear every word on the TV. We all were exhausted after a day of packing a moving truck and hours of driving, and got very little sleep that night. So I approached the over night desk person in the morning, and she was aware of this person, stated he was deaf, and would have someone address it. That he has stayed here before, and it seems, had complaints about this before.
The next night about 1 AM, my family was awoken to the sounds of gunshots, and screaming... FROM this guy's TV again. I wasn't going to have a second sleepless night, so I went down to the front desk. The same woman said she could move us.
Well, it's 1 AM, all our stuff is in the room, and we are checking out in the morning. That isn't the solution. The solution is to go to that room, and tell him to turn it down. Nope. So she gave me $20 off my bill.
That is basically an insult. It is telling me that my family being unable to utilize the hotel for its intended purpose, to SLEEP for a fee paid to then, is only worth a minor discount.
Needless to say, we will remember this terrible experience, and make sure everyone we can knows the "value" of being a guest at this...
Read moreFirst off the cost is very reasonable. I felt safe knowing that you needed a room card to enter the building. Front desk Personnel were all extremely polite and friendly no matter the time of day or night or silly question you asked. ( I was Tired when I got in it was late) My King room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were two TV's in the room!! One in the living area and one in the bedroom area. You never see that. The Breakfast was delicious The area was very clean and maintained well. Everything was fresh and always full, Connie the attendant does a stellar job and is so friendly always offering to help with the waffle maker which makes it easier then having to read how to use it, she made the task quick and easy. She runs a tight ship and you can see that she takes pride in her job. Give that Woman a raise!!! The selection is abundant from cereal's both cold and hot, oatmeal with all the fixin's, brown sugar, raisins, granola, the works. Toasts and flavored breads, Eggs and a breakfast meat. the two days I was there there was sausage Pattie's one day and ham the next Oh and Yummy Biscuits and Gravy!!! English muffins and bagels and lets not forget the fresh fruit. I know I sound NUTS but this was impressive. Oh BTW there was Computer access too! There is a pool but I didn't go out to it but it looked clean a well kept. All in all A great...
Read moreWe were passing through central FL on our way further south and needed a place to sleep for the night. This place is great. Clermont itself is a nice town and the area around the hotel felt safe. ||The hotel itself is immaculately clean and service is friendly. The common areas are all super modern, but the room decor and furnishings have more of a 90’s vibe. Don’t get me wrong, everything in the room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable. It just had a bit older aesthetic vs the public areas. ||Shower pressure was very good even on the top floor. They use Speakman shower heads which is great. The shower nozzle is mounted nice and high on the wall, so even taller people (like me) won’t have to crouch down to get their hair wet. Bed was comfortable, climate control worked well. ||Special shout out for having stationary and a pen. Most hotels, even expensive ones, did away with that since covid and never brought it back. ||Free breakfast was great. Didn’t get to use pool area, but it looked really nice. Even has a hot tub!||Parking is free, which is another good reason to stay here vs a hotel closer in to Orlando where it’s common for even limited service hotels to charge for parking. No resort or “destination fee” either. ||Overall a great place to stay and I strongly...
