Honestly if your Hispanic do not come here, I wanted to have a great night with my family for Father’s Day and spend time as a family and eat together, but our servers attitude just ruined it for us. Our server was named Mary and let me just say her attitude and presence was very negative, stressful and over all rude. When she first approached us around 6:17PM she didn’t bring the bread which ok whatever that’s fine usually we get served the bread and they take our order, this was a bit strange but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. My family dose not speak English well so I was translating and speaking on behalf of my father and mother, Mary seemed very stressed out and impatient over all I asked if there was strawberry lemonade to which she replied “No we don’t have any lemonade of any kind.” This is not the way to talk to a customer she could have said “I’m sorry guys we are out of Lemonade for tonight may I recommend you a different option?” See how much better that sounds? It’s more polite and open with conversation I have worked in the food industry and this is how I was trained. I was very uncomfortable by her response so I gave her another chance and asked if it was possible to have one of the cocktails with no alcohol because I really wanted juice, to which she replied “No we don’t do any virgin drinks.” Just flat out no not even a “No I’m sorry” and she looked at me as if I were dumb? Which at this point I should have just got up and left there was no hospitality in her voice. Once she took our drinks we were ready to order we already knew what we wanted and my father had questions about the stakes, then she replied holding her hands out to us and raised her voice stating “I’m just taking your drinks guys!” That should have been the last straw I was tried of her picking a bone with my family and me while we were just asking questions I felt highly threatened by her negative energy it was extremely uncomfortable. I noticed how she treated the white people and she was very kind a polite to them made conversation and helped them with recommendations was very patient too, I felt a bit irritated and upset that she treated me and my family differently, honestly it was very insulting. She barley made eye contact with us and didn’t even give us any updates it’s now 7:20PM still no bread and no food she checked on us once stating “Your food should be out shortly,” and walked away she didn’t even notice our table that we had our drinks half full she could’ve offered us more but chose not to which was very poor server training on her end, you could always take care of your table and look to offer them a refill. She brings us the bread and it’s a burnt on the sides I’m not sure who like burnt bread but not I. My father was very uncomfortable and I felt horrible because I just wanted a good Father’s Day for him. But alright Mary. Our food comes my Father and Mother ordered the same thing the Rib Eye steak it is now 7:55PM they order their stake medium well and it was not medium well, it was a bit cold in the middle way too much fat my mother had to spit it out a few times she was not pleased with it so did my father. The stakes were way too salted and had too much pepper my mother had a bout 6 bits and could not finish. I had the Salmon and the rice had way too much salt and pepper as well as the salmon. I ordered asparagus and it was beyond greasy and very shriveled it had no crunch to it and it was very soggy I did not finish my plate at all. Of course we didn’t want to speak to Mary because she was already over us being in her space. We just asked her to bring us the check we were done with this and wished to leave she said “Ok” 20 minutes pass still no check Mary is helping a table with their order she wasn’t even that quick with us which was very irritating. The manager comes and we ask for the check (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) brings us the check I attempted to express my concerns he kept making excuses so we just sign the check and leave. Horrible experience. Never...
Read moreOutback steakhouse is not something I can normally afford.. we stopped by this Clermont location.. our server name was Charles he was absolutely wonderful I never knew of server including myself that would refill beverages as fast as he did.. I wanted to say the blooming onion was amazing I couldn't finish it all of course as I was waiting for my main entree it had a special spice to it that made it unique and different. Especially from different branches that I've tried that from.. I did have an allergy I didn't know it from it seems everything was dusted down I didn't see any dust but my allergies were telling me something different I was thinking maybe it's in the ductwork of the AC unit itself.. my food came out absolutely perfect my partner's food the chicken came out too small but the manager that was there who I did not get the name of acted appropriately and he brought us the same size chicken back because we did eat or smaller portion it could not wait for the other one and we told them that though ahead of time just give us the same portion to make it equal portion of what was called for on the menu... The only downside is there was barbecue on the second portion of his chicken but the barbecue was not so intense where he felt like it was barely on there and it felt like it was still a very good dish it was juicy it was wonderful or steaks were cooked to perfection of what we asked for.. again Charles made our experience so much better the way he treated us we did tell him it's been years since we've been here cuz it's not something we can always afford but he still made us feel like we were part of the family and respected the fact and gave us extra time to look over the menu even when after we ordered like I didn't know you had this can we please add this to our order he was like absolutely.. never let me run out of a drink of water or the lemonade.. and I suck the life out of my drinks I'm constantly thirsty that's just the type of person I am so to have a waiter to see that I'm running out of my drinks before I tell them hey I ran out of my drink he already had one and it was right there on my table it was amazing and any question I had to ask about the menu like I said I haven't been there in a while he was 100% on game he knew exactly what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted myself.. his professionalism I was amazed by.. and I'm a waitress myself and I was blown away. I just want to pretty much say you might have cleared the dust in your dining room from the bad comment that I did see but there's clearly a lot of dust still in your ductwork because my allergies as I'm allergic to dust and my boyfriend's allergies are Dust and mold.. and I can honestly say my allergies weren't as bad that night but I was triggered.. but for thank you. For the wonderful dine in experience. The food was absolutely amazing.. and I swore off Texas roadhouse's blooming onion because I finally was able to taste yours again and I can just never go back from it.. again thank you Charles for giving us a memorable night that we will never forget.. as we both sat there and awww over your kindness.. when we both work in...

The best part of this visit was the employees. They were exceptionally friendly. They spent time getting to know us, the seater had a wonderful sense of humor. The server spent a good amount of time talking to us about more than just food and the restaurant. She seemed genuinely interested in things we shared as well. I could go on and in about them alone.
Overall the food was really good. They have two salmon plates. I had the one with the Cajun sauce. The salmon was cooked to perfection and seemed very fresh. I felt like the portion was larger than the menu described, but I didn't have a scale. The shrimp were good, fresh, but we're at room temperature. Not a big deal because the fish and sauce were hot. About the sauce, it's not overly spicy so don't worry if you're prone to heartburn. It's good. Broccoli was about as as close to perfection as anyone can get. It leaned a bit toward the soft side, but was still firm and had a slight crunch. The down side was the potato soup. It wasn't bad, but instead of a broth or cream, it was almost foamy. The shredded cheese didn't melt, I don't know that it was about the quality of the cheese or the lack of warmth. It wasn't very hot. It also had too much salt for something that had bacon in it, but that may just be my taste. Don't add salt until you taste it.
My only real disappointment, aside from the foamy soup. Was the condition of the menu. It was dirtier than the floor. In fact, it was the dirtiest menu I've ever handled. Yes, I've been to waffle house. Both menus in fact were filthy. It made me take a second look at the restaurant and the only reason I stayed was because everything else was impeccably clean. Whoever was tasked with cleaning them the night before had a really off day I guess. I'm glad I stayed, but next visit I'll bring wet wipes and hand sanitizer.
They open at 11:00 and I believe we were the first ones there. By 11:30 there was a steady flow of people coming in. Considering that was a Tuesday I imagine they probably get a very large lunch crowd.
Next trip I'll try a steak. Considering how good the salmon was and the fact that it's a steakhouse, I imagine they must...
